I was covering the Lakers in 1999 when Staples opened and was told by several people back then that this was a rush job. Corners were cut. Arena would likely age poorly. And now ... Dodger Stadium is decades older and has held up well (with a few refurbishments). Staples/Crypto is 25. Feels 55
