I’m pretty sure it’s based on the original Elder Dragons, from the format’s inception. Three hits and you’re dead. But today yeah, it keeps lifegain decks in check.

We HAVE to play if you’re ever back in Montréal. Magic consumes us all eventually.

Serve over stir-fried vegetables, fried tofu, and rice noodles. It’s a light but salty sauce, with sweet and citrus-y notes. It’s great.

I like to add sesame seeds to any stir-fry dish. Add them before serving.

Lastly, the sauce needs a touch of citrus. You can use grated orange peel, but I use Keffir lime peels. They’re amazing, and you can get them from Épices en Cru at the Jean-Talon market here in Montréal. Be generous, but don’t add too much.

On top of that, add any spices you’d like. At a minimum, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion power. I’ve also added touches of curry powder or cumin in the past.

Start with equal parts soy sauce (for salt and flavour), maple syrup (for sweetness), and peanut butter (for the classic pad Thai flavour). I also add a touch of Teriyaki sauce and fish sauce.

Primarily, make games for you. If you don’t love it, no one else will either. Prototypes *are* games. Saying that they’re not undermines you. Keep working on them and turn them into small releases. Focus on yourself, do lots of planning, and keep working on the next thing. You’ll get there.

My many thanks to my dear friend Emily Kelsall, who acted as narrative consultant for this project, and who informed much of its humour.

Welp. That’s just annoying haha. So much for consistency.

Omenpaths are consistently depicted as triangular portals with criss-crossing lines within them. I don’t think this fits that description.

If it’s a Windows exe, you can go to the Steam desktop app on the backend, and in one of the drop-down menus, you can add Non-Steam Games. After you add it, you can assign custom splash page artwork, and it’ll show up on the front end once you boot back into the deck

I download Itch games on it, connect them up to Steam as ‘non-Steam games’, and play them that way on the frontend. You can even install some Linux packages to play games that require DirectX. It’s amazing
