There's a webcomic I once followed (many years ago) whose artist has spent the past 15 years slowly transforming from an Obama supporter to a literal Nazi (explicit Antisemitism included) with transphobia being the main trigger for the spiral. Even Rowling hasn't fallen quite so hard yet.
