All my life I've felt the urge to draw. Lately I've been wondering where it went. If I pick up a pencil and work on a project I can still do it. I still go into that art zen state while I'm drawing. But the urge to sketch my characters? To paint a sunset? To draw a weird beastie? It's gone. 😔

The Madrid Atrium—The biggest painting I never finished. After several months of painting tile grout I threw some lighting effects on there and called it done. Also the only painting I ever created a 3D model base for. The aftermath (painting tile grout for several months) put me off of it for good.

I spent 2019 doing 300+ vector illustrations of historical artifacts for a game app and used the money to buy the old RV that I lived in for the next 2 years. Work that literally kept a roof over my head. I'd love to find more work like this.
