does anyone following me know the developer of Death Machine and if they're still working on it? I remember seeing the videos and the steam page and just being blown away by how pretty it looks, but I haven't heard anything about it in ages.

Reposting with alt text: I did this just now and it worked.

I just know memestock apes just went full Nazi mode

opening twine to start a project less than a week before the game jam ends

the only way forward for video games is self-published games made by properly-organised studios corporate ownership will fire all of you in the end.

meeting a 14y/o gay emo kid with a Jeff the Killer fictive in a VR world themed around the old internet is both extremely "the kids are alright" and whatever the exact opposite of that is

sometimes I make vent art or art just for myself, but then sometimes I'm really proud of it and I'm like... man, if only I could show this to anybody without being super off putting and seeming like I'm attention seeking

BRUSH BURIAL is On Sale (now $4.89) for a week in celebration of love. that creature you send embarassing messages to will think you have inky esoteric taste (an arousing trait) if you buy it for them store.steampowered.com/app/2676540/...

Another attempt at the breakfast sandwich, I think these have reached as close to perfect as an inexperience cook like me can get them

oh sick, I can't wait to lose all access to medication and healthcare

these guys spent 60 kajillion dollars to make a computer forget how to do math

I go through these phases of trying to get as good at making one specific food as I can, making it over and over until it's as tasty to me as I can get it. I did it with spam musubis a little bit ago, and now I'm going through the same thing with breakfast sandwiches

Something I just realized is that @ycjygames.bsky.social's Keep Driving is actually surprisingly similar to Kingsway, another retro RPG roguelike and one of my favorite games. That's probably why I love it so much, haha.

oh, to be the topless girl wearing a jacket at the base of the mountain in @ycjygames.bsky.social's Keep Driving

10 million fireflies: Why won't you just admit that I'm real Owl City: I'm gonna write the new Montana state anthem

they should invent a me that doesn't have covid (it has been a month and I am still coughing so hard I throw up)

must... finish... the... project...

So hyped for online multiplayer!! I really hope more games will get to make use of this! I'd love to see what kind of card game Powerdive would make with this especially.

my 18+ visual novel about dumb trans puppygirl navigating trauma, bonds, family and sisterhood. and super powers maid style play malmaid for free now store.steampowered.com/app/3089450/...

Anyone who's sleeping on @thetomska.bsky.social's Try Hards series: stop that. stop doing that. watch the series. it's so good, it's like one of the best tv show-like YouTube series out there, and the new season of so high budget.

ugh, spring. I'm not ready. I know it's not very common, but I really don't like sunlight and prefer colder climates, I'm usually nocturnal. I like being about to go to bed at sunrise and wake up at sunset, without having to be awake during daylight hours. I wish it could stay winter.

They crossbred @thetomska.bsky.social and @eddache.bsky.social (for livestock reasons obvs) and the result killed someone. probably @thetomska.bsky.social and @eddache.bsky.social (for livestock reasons obvs)

@crait.bsky.social do you ever plan on making a Playdate game?

Just finished the Mindwave Demo, goddamn it's so good. You can already tell it's going to be goated. The animation, the visual style, the music, the characters, all of them seem like a slam dunk so far. Please please please give it some of your time of it even looks mildly interesting to you.

holy shit, so cool

Ok, there are probably some bugs, but we did finish the game jam we were working on. I hope you like it! biogenesis.itch.io/carfishing

I wrote a bit of interactive fiction. It's pretty great and has some good music. If you like surreal fantasy or stories about pain, definitely check it out (and tell me what ending you got). paletteheart.itch.io/ocean-red #indiedev #gamedev

I love Undertale, but if there's anything I could say I hate about it it's Fun values. It's an interesting quirk about UT, but then more games started to use similar systems and I really dislike it, because it means you miss content due to random chance.

At this point, the only thing that can get me to play NES games or NES-style games is creative indie titles like UFO 50 or Trials of Kharzoid. I've lived my entire life with NES games, it's been 30 years since the system died. I'm glad they're still around, but I feel like we've finally moved on.
