Actually, what I really need for it to be able to do is go into my canvas classes and tell me where my dates need to be updated and just give me an itemized list. Ha ha!

We have a new mission! I will try it out.

I think we could use those now. šŸ¤“

Now letā€™s work out how to upload all syllabi for a semester and have it put in due dates and plot you a course for completing assignments on time. That would be cool. šŸ˜Ž

Yes, itā€™s very cute, but more importantly, what did the fox say?

Do tellā€¦what is it? I kind of want it to be a mallā€¦with a record store, iron-on t-shirt store, and maybe a place to park my bicycle?

Weird. Itā€™s like a written version of that mysterious third hand phenomenon in the image and video generators. Overall it kinda ā€œlooksā€ right but the nuance fails on closer inspection.

Hmmm, will the AI need an AI therapist to discuss all the discussion on its process? It sounds like it has recreated my brain. I wonder if it too has a song always playing somewhere in its background?

You missed a spot. (That was a joke my mom said when Iā€™d done an amazing cleaned up!) Go Jen!

I enjoy chatting on all manner of deep dives into learning while driving home. ā€œHey (insert your GPT) tell me about string theoryā€¦ā€ or ā€œTell me something interesting about King Tides and kelp forestsā€¦ā€ Often, just something Iā€™m pondering as I look out my window.

The devil is in the details so to speak. But there too I think if itā€™s doing your synthesizing and the heavy lifting of your writing (robbing you of cognitive struggle needed for growth) thatā€™s not a great use of itā€¦we need our synapses connecting and ingenuity honed to the level of automaticity.

I have to wonder, if a student sat next to a human or peer who helped them think about ideas, gave suggestions, checked work for grammar and spellingā€¦is that cheating? To me it comes down to the process of learning. Is it helping you to become a better writer or doing your thinking for you? Nuance.

The zipline!! So much fun. Endless possibilities for design challenges. I gotta go look that up now and figure it out.

A3) The notion that anyone can have access to just in time support and information, presented in a style that best suits your learning style, interest level (all in one or small chunks over time), and interactively. Thatā€™s exciting and promising if done right.

Hey Kate, it was a Lightspeed system. It was when I was in the classroom, 4 speakers in the ceiling, a small white teacher mic and a student mic. A Juno tower is used in new rooms. I teach about once a week & miss having a mic. Looking for a good refurbished tower.

These are gorgeous! I immediately had to go and find out what neurographic art is! Thank you! Best thing Iā€™ve learned so far today and itā€™s still morning! Are there any resources you recommend I check out? #EduSky

I ā¤ļø my classroom mic. In addition to accessibility & the benefits to my students learning English (lots of research on crispness of words and sounds) It allowed me to set such a calm vibe in the room as I wasnā€™t expending so much energy to be ā€œloudā€ and heard. ā˜ŗļø Hey #EduSky friends any thoughts?

There is nothing like a blank cardboard box with potential just waiting to be explored, like kinetic energy waiting around in a kickball for the right foot to come along and make it move! Have fun.
