(note, I don't want literally anyone who sees this to in any way misconstrue this as an excuse for being shitty to Cody, Katie, or anyone else involved, except maybe Warmbo)

My wife is the granddaughter of a holocaust survivor, and seeing the clip gives her an instinctive fight or flight response.

Again, good work, and this isn't a criticism of you or of your approach to comedy, just pointing out a difficulty with what may be a missing piece of your experience. I believe I remember that you have a Jewish writer, but not everyone responds the same way.

It's important, and mentioning it is important, but the visual coming out of nowhere also makes it really hard for us to get through these sections and focus on what you're saying through the panic of generational trauma, and we really want to hear what you have to say.

Hey so my family loves the showdy and we watch every episode and will continue to do so, and this ep is *great*, and we understand why you do this but...
Could you maybe not show the elon salute clip 3-10 times every video on today's politics?

So yeah. Please. If you care at all about the functioning of law, *be more scared of this shit, because it turns out law doesn't matter when the enforcers don't care.*
comment in response to

It is disingenuous and really naive to pretend that just because they're not *meant* to count as law, that we can pretend that he isn't functionally *legislating from the desk anyway*.
People are getting hurt, right now. It's going to keep getting worse. The system is *not functioning*.

The EOs saying that trans people are liars and there're only two genders and they're defined at birth are scientifically wrong, show discriminatory animus, and violate case law. And yet, HHS has a proposed rule using those contested EOs as justification to take away HRT from trans *adults*.

There is no recourse, and the Judiciary has no ability to ensure their judgements about the interpretation of the law are followed by the executive branch when implementing them, nor does the legislature have the practical ability to ensure their laws are implemented as intended.

This is both true and irrelevant. If the machine of government were working properly then it would matter, but every government institution is implementing these EOs as quickly as they are written, suits are filed, injunctions are raised, and the government just... ignores them.

Right, and the El Salvador concentration camp flights.
People have no clue what's really happening here. Lawyers are out there telling the guy about to shoot them "Um, actually, that would be illegal."

I haven't read ACOTAR, but there's also the fact that romantasy as a genre is read overwhelmingly by women, and societally we kinda... hate on anything that's popular with women, at any age -- see the "not like the other girls" trope.
It's a lot more empowering to admit you like what you like.

We've been saying that transmisogyny is misogyny, that the patriarchy hurts men too, that systemic racism against black people increases systemic classism against poorer white people. It's *true*, but it *should* be enough that they're oppressive *to us*, not just when non-targets are affected.

Protest is patriotic, even when it's on the Internet. The DNC is a coalition of people. Support the coalition, and demand that those the coalition put in its leadership do likewise, or else we're nothing.

The enemy is openly authoritarian, racist, sexist, classist, bigoted, only interested in governance when it hurts people they don't like. They willfully ignore laws and norms to weaken the 4th estate and unions, suppress voters, and shut down dissent. "Diet GOP" is not enough. We need to do more.

Once the voting is done you still need to act and be vocal to affect the change you *want*.
We need the DNC to go to bat for us, but folks *we voted for* are saying "pick your battles" and choosing "none", while we *still* have two out of three anti-trans EOs completely unchecked.

An LLM, any model, no matter what, is designed to do just one thing: Produce a response which *looks* like it would fit in with the training data. It does not reproduce truth, it is designed to lie *convincingly*. Hallucinations are not a bug, they are literally intrinsic to the design.

bespoke/limited edition memkits from "ethically sourced" subby trans girls are insanely expensive, but some like to break someone who *was* happy... other kits are priced according to popularity... memkit editing is a niche skill for tailoring your doll's traumas to your liking...
