A big thank you to all those who have been so positive about my new book. It's about how neurological patients can tell us so much about our selves, how personal and social identities are forged by different cognitive functions, and what it means to belong.

Blood tests are becoming available that detect #Alzheimer pathology years before symptoms appear. But when is the best time to diagnose? Reflecting on yesterday, important that those who are opposed/concerned to AD engage with the processes and don’t become conscientious objectors. We can be vigilant for potentially treatable features and presence of self- or external coercion. Leaving this to those who are pro would be dangerous.
