I think of it as 3 years personally.
Encyclopedia Eorzea giving us an exact year for Ketenramm's expedition & the rough estimate of "80 or so years" of Galool Ja Ja's rule makes 3 years feel right to me.

I think I've just. Enjoyed the freedom too much to even try.
