The relationship between the US and its traditional allies has irrevocably changed. Europe and countries like Canada can accept being under the boot of the US, or make the hard choice to reclaim their sovereignty and chart a different path for tech development.

I wrote about the target DOGE put on California high-speed rail back in December, when it became clear Vivek Ramaswamy (remember him?) and Elon Musk were going after it.
Musk has always wanted to see the project canceled, and this is an opportunity he can’t pass up.
