As we grow older, memories of who we were in our youth changes to validate the person we’ve become, to the point that by our fifties most of our long-term memories are false. We read with a confirmation bias. That bias changes over time to legitimize our evolution, for better or for worse.

The war in Ukraine is a test of the world’s commitment to the right of people to govern themselves, the rejection of expansion through violence. If we fail, the world will go back to one of empires and world wars.

The WH‘s Defense in the case was that the President doesn’t have to be reasonable in declaring a state of emergency; that there are no applicable standard to his declaration of emergency. If that were true, then their would be no check on Presidential power.

Unless he was found guilty of plagiarism under Princeton‘s Academic Regulations, this is hearsay and conjecture. University Plagiarism rules are rigorous and include presumption of innocence. If he cheated, the university could rescind his degree. Until they have, public accusation aren‘t right.
