Maybe it's just getting old. Cool shit used to happen all the time, and I think I just took it for granted. The world was, at least in my privileged bubble, *progressing* somewhat. Maybe it was just being a kid. I think there's evidence pointing in either direction.

Had a dream that Elon Musk took over my workplace and started making outrageous demands that didn't make sense and would ruin the company. So we all talked behind his back and made fun of him in ways his ego wouldn't allow him to comprehend. I'm thinking this is probably accurate to real life.

Replaced my computer's PSU today, making sure to properly unplug and replug everything in the correct order. I press the power button and it just.. works. I somehow didn't forget anything and everything runs as it should. This never happens to me and now I worry about the space-time continuum.

Wow. Been a while since I last edited videos. How is editing software still this bad? I've experienced 4-5 blue screens and dozens of soft crashes as soon as I do anything GPU related too much. DaVinci Resolve seemed so promising initially but it's incredibly unstable, even with LTS drivers.

Spent all evening trying to figure out ALSA, JACK and pipewire and unfortunately it's just not feasible for me to do audio on Linux. Things will randomly work and then just undo itself. My sound card works for 5 seconds and then nothing comes out. It's a total nightmare to work with.
