I made a sign with that very message, I’m waiting for the real Liberation Day

I was waiting for someone to say that, ain’t he a little underdressed for his Royal Trashiness?

I know guys that aren’t white yet they’re enjoying the tariff war for the headlines. As someone who studied economics, I cringe because I stay informed and know what’s coming, yet these guys could be smacked by Trump himself and they’d love it. They literally like him more, even after Jan 6!

I got blocked by a few people myself and I don’t think I ever interacted with them 🤷🏽♂️ I won’t always follow back but I’ll for sure block them if they block me I guess

I thought for someone that now lives in FL, they’d want to replicate the success of Brightline all over the U.S., but I’m speaking as if there were any competent people in this administration

Mr. Cheeto did too much for someone that “hates New York,” and I bet it wasn’t even to support any NIMBYs who hate transit, it was because he didn’t like the way the cameras looked next to his high class hotel by Central Park. NY sticks up against bullies by saying “no”

further proves the point that whoever was elected and did nothing to the economy we wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place, I laugh at whoever seriously thinks Harris would have been worse than Trump 🤣

As someone south of the border, I’m aware this is the reality and I still love Canada for seizing the moment to build its leadership. I only hope the next president can work hard to rebuild and reform a partnership with our neighbors that remains unchanged at the whim of some asshole.

You’re so right about that. Adams was able to win 2021 because the media and the other candidates treated him as the only topic of discussion, that made him the virtual winner even if someone else led polling early on.

Facts… we have great options, but I think we just have to get the word out and remind people of how things weren’t great with Cuomo as governor. I’m sure if he gets elected he’ll have to resign because of another crazy scandal, we don’t want anymore scandalous politicians!!!

Brad Lander is also a compelling option, good balance between experience and advocacy… he pushed congestion relief through the courts when the governor wanted to back off, and I wouldn’t sleep on Jessica Ramos or Zellnor Myrie. Idk if the last two will win but they do have a promising future.

I want to know where I could get my Soros-sponsored check for participating in the protest, tho I will admit I didn’t choose violence, so I perhaps will earn less?
but I hear someone that has a name starting with an E had their ego hurt!

I’m afraid of most of the social media some people consume, as a way of confirming their biases. someone I know reposted a clip on IG of DJT from the 80s talking about trade deficits and the main takeaway from the comment section was “he dropped the idea for decades and is delivering on it” 🤦🏽♂️

dude, they’re not even “communists” by a long shot, they’re left of democrats but they’re not puritanical socialists. WFP is a minor party but in no way is it fringe, it’s on the ballot in a good number of states and a good # of Dems are on that party line too

“a lot of people” translates to “the people in my innermost circle and the ones kissing my ass would love a 3rd term”.. now for the people that really thought “eh, just give him a 2nd term, that’s all he wants”, what do you have to say now? give a guy a hand and he pulls you down the cliff with him

it would have been funny to transfer from the M to the M at Jackson Heights 🥲 I liked that they decided to make Atlantic Ave station closer to Broadway Junction and to add tunnels under All Faiths Cemetery to avoid running the train on the street

I see, I didn’t get to review the poll, so I was wrong for saying that.. I’d still like to see a strong coalition form to defeat Cuomo, I don’t think any one today can (yet?) but idk. maybe people are voting based on name recognition, we need to get people to turn out in general

we all need to DREAM big:
Don’t
Rank
Eric or
Andrew for
Mayor
we don’t need another terrible one-term (or less) mayor because of his scandals
comment in response to
post
I’m sure if he does go as far as becoming mayor, his administration will be as scandalous or more scandalous than the current one, do we really want to put someone in we know will be unpopular and will either be removed or forced to resign at some point?
comment in response to
post
yeah, I agree, I meant like for someone who doesn’t know the role she plays in this whole thing they’d think nothing of her

I’d like to see a poll do a ranked choice simulation, I think if anyone to the left of Cuomo endorsing the strongest candidate, who appears to be Mamdami as of today, there is a chance, especially if people don’t rank Cuomo all together
comment in response to
post
if this happened under Biden, this would be a front page story on every MAGA outlet for months, especially on Fox News, but “anyone who leaks classified info” is to blame, not the high-ranking officials who chatted off the books
comment in response to

we can also count on none of them endorsing either Adams or Cuomo for mayor 🤭 they’ll never show us they’re out of touch with regular, non-wealthy voters!

thank you for you and @aoc.bsky.social standing by us, the people… it saddens me people still don’t understand that he means the opposite of everything he says, he won’t cut social security, he’ll ANNIHILATE it and then say “I didn’t do that, it was X’s fault”

I believe they bring the worst out of them, like some parents do with their children, they come across as the kindest people but did so much to enable shitty behavior

not only that, but anyone with access to their phones would be able to read the messages, a random staffer or intern can leak the intel to anyone at that point.. the gov’t has secure channels to communicate and they could have discussed this in a secure in-person room
