They are literally worshipping a golden calf. Hmmm... where have I heard that story before?🤔

This billboard says it all.

Other companies that have discontinued DEI hiring and promotion include Walmart, Ford, Toyota, Boeing, Caterpillar, Brown-Forman, Molson Coors, and Deere & Company. All worthy of purchase boycotts, although, unfortunately, I'm not currently in the market for a 747 or tractor. wapo.st/4fSccN8

Why I'm quitting the Washington Post open.substack.com/pub/anntelna...

I'd like to apologize to any and all followers for failure on my part to follow back. I've been sick for the past month, and am trying to catch up. I'm currently following back at the rate of about 30/day, but it's going to take a few weeks to catch up. Mea culpa!

If you think only billionaires can control social media, You are absolutely wrong. Social media is completely dependent on its users. Think about why you do or did use FB, ThreadsTik tok or Twitter. It's because they have enough users. Take away all the "normies" and they all are worthless

x X has ~18m daily USA users. @bsky.app, ~1.5m. Is it worth 20 MINS a day to proactively recruit and bring your friends, neighbors, relatives, businesses, anyone who is or could be a user, to @bsky.app? If Bluesky ends up with more users than the others, you destabilize musk, zuck, trump.

This is how our democracy is SUPPOSED to work, folks. Boring and normal. No mob attacking the Capitol. No incitement of insurrection. No smearing feces on the walls. No beating cops with flagpoles. No crowds screaming to hang the Vice President. Just a normal, peaceful transfer of power.

Possibly the best clap back against ignorant antivaxxers.

A contribution to Habitat for Humanity would also be appropriate.

I’m normally against high taxes but I think we could balance the budget here via a 100-percent levy on morons

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public. He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit. Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

If you told me people were lining up to write million dollar checks for the inauguration of a guy who a few short years ago laid siege to the Capitol in an attempted insurrection, I would've said you were crazy. It turns out I was the crazy one.

Ann Telnaes was the best thing about the Washington Post. This reaffirms my decision to cancel my subscription. www.npr.org/2025/01/04/n...

Good morning and Happy Tuesday to everyone who agrees that President Carter was the kind of man who lived an exemplary life as a Christian, doing good for others, while others just hurt people and sell expensive Bibles. In a world of Felon 47s, be a Jimmy Carter.🙏

Jimmy Carter Deserved Better. So Do We. open.substack.com/pub/borowitz...

🚩 this is a PSA:

Can we just admit that we NEED immigrants for our economy to run, from agriculture to high tech? We’re a goddamn nation of immigrants, aren’t we? Let’s be proud of our immigrant heritage!

This is so spot-on it’s scary.

I'm going to post this video every day so we never forget

"In the 1950s and 1960s, the CEOs of large corporations earned an average of about 20 times the pay of their typical worker. Now, they rake in over 300 times the pay of an average worker. . . .

I have the same wish!

Happy 84th birthday to Anthony Fauci

Russia shot down another airliner, on Christmas Stop russia

In 1659, the the Puritans in Massachusetts enacted a law that declared that Christmas was sacrilege and exchanging of gifts, greetings, and wearing fine clothing on that day was Satanic. Anyone caught celebrating was fined 5 shillings. (About 5 days wages.) The "War on Christmas" was an inside job.

No kidding!!
