The GOP and their criminal in chief would not be breaking the law every day if they felt they would be held to account. They will manufacture excuses to cancel the ‘26 midterms. I can’t believe some people still doubt this.

Let’s hope they listen. This story was chilling. I’ve always respected our military. I will never support sedition, treason, rape, corruption or other Republican values.

I needed this thread today.

My father’s grandfather came to America during the potato famine. His mother arrived decades later from Denmark. My mom’s maternal grandmothers’ ancestors landed a month apart in 1735, fleeing England during the Puritan migration. Her paternal grandfathers were Swiss & Irish. We are all immigrants.

A proud daughter of Arizona who tirelessly fights for democracy, as her Republican sister seeks to dismantle it by trading on her sister’s fame.

Make it stop. This Russian asset is a human horror show. What was Hawaii thinking ten years ago? #NoCruella

Please do. But stay safe. And if any instigators try to turn a peaceful protest into something else, leave if you can or sit down so that police know you are not one of those creating a problem.

Never. I will be on the street at 8:30 am Saturday protesting corruption and criminality. “No Kings” in America. I’m also protesting his supporters, whether they are relations, neighbors or just misled people I’ve never met.

Because most of our media is now a right-wing controlled ah*t show? Objective reality has given way to subjective lies.

Sigh. Ask him to play “La Marseillaise.”

An 80-year-old cartoon someone posted on BlueSky recently. It never changes. And you know billions change hands to make it happen.

Genius hardly describes Brian Wilson. His talent was on a level with Mozart and Prince. “Love and Mercy,” which a friend turned me onto at the time, helped me understand Brian. It drew me into his world. You, P. Dano, P. Giamatti, director B. Poland & E. Banks did him proud.

Yes. Unfortunately 100% true.

The seething and hate-filled MAGA can crawl back under their rocks. There is no reaching these people. They understand Fox lies incessantly. They revel in those lies like pigs in mud.

More Dems need to speak up the way Newsom, AOC, Chris Murphy, Sanders and some others have been doing. Republican members of Congress are not your distinguished colleagues. They’re setting fire to democracy.

So cool. Talk about organic.

Krasnov is like a Stephen King horror image. He will brand anything. Chillingly ugly man.

There something definitely very wrong with him. I hope he gets the help he needs.

They’re all good ones. I took his seminar 20+ years ago.

These victories are providing some hope in what often seems like screaming into the wind. Shambolic president and administration to be sure.

Isaiah 44:9-23. The Folly of Idolatry “All who fashion idols are nothing, and the things they delight in do not profit.” … … “Let them all assemble, let them stand forth. They shall be terrified; they shall be put to shame together.” Doesn’t sound like a great ending.

Please folks, Do not give these animals an excuse to ratchet up their attacks on peaceful protestors.

I believe it was a one-time only broadcast. But I’m sure it’ll be available elsewhere. And the 2005 movie version is great.

I had forgotten Diana Reeves did that ST. She is so great on Terrance Blanchard’s “Let’s Get Lost.” Around the Millennium, I walked into a CD signing Rosemary Clooney did in the UWS Tower Records in NYC. Not busy. So I stopped over to her table. A very nice woman, though she seemed sad. Great lady.

Perhaps Martin should leave. I was shocked by his tired talking points on MSNBC following his election. Same old song … “once people realize what they are doing.” People realize! Maybe Stacy Abrams would be willing to do it for a while.

Terror is their objective of course. I doubt they are all ICE agents. Masked vigilantes, Jan. 6th domestic terrorists? No way to know when brown shirts come wearing masks.
comment in response to post
Not interested in more gratuitous film violence. We have a country to save.
comment in response to post
And as has been said over and over, how many of these agents are actually Jan. 6th domestic terrorists wearing masks?

Thank God an actual journalist like Jim Acosta left CNN as it continues spiraling into irrelevance. The MAGA will never watch you. The rest of us will always reject “Fascism Light” and billionaire owners. Zhakaria and Amanpour - Please find an actual news network worthy of your great reporting.

It seems like Private Bone Spurs is worried less about a few dozen people at a Cali Home Depot and more that millions will turn out on June 14th for the “No Kings” protests against his corrupt and fascist administration. It’s his birthday. And he’s spending tens of millions on a parade - for himself
comment in response to post
ICE is a criminal organization at this point. Are they even actual officers or Jan. 6th vigilantes? It seems like Newsom cares more about his podcast and future failed presidential run than angering the criminal GOP. But stay safe. This is a deeply corrupt and fascist administration.

You did! And then CNN / Max cut the panel discussion short after a gentleman began drawing parallels to the HUAC era and Trump’s fascism. Weird to bring so many distinguished panelists together and then just pull the plug with an “the event has ended” placard. Life imitates art …
comment in response to post
CNN / Max literally gutted the post play discussion after a few minutes when one of the guests criticized the cancerous current denizen of America’s White House. They cut to an endless loop stating “the event has ended.” Life imitates art.

I’m also registered and encouraging friends around the country to please go. A peaceful show of protest against the madness and incompetence of the GOP matters.
