Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States. It is celebrated annually on June 19 to commemorate the ending of slavery in the United States. Why aren’t Democrats pushing for raising minimum hourly wage, getting the rich to make higher contributions to Social Security and pay graduated tax rates as a way to provide better equity in the US.? This should be part of party platform, no? GOP runs counter to this.
