There's even a scene in Ferris Bueller on this!
"In 1930, the Republican controlled House of Representatives, in an effort to alleviate the effects of the Great Depression, passed the Smoot-Hawley Act which raised tariffs... It did not work and the US sank deeper into the Great Depression."

This was taken on October 25th. While earlier in the year the Milky Way is southeast, by the late Fall it has swung significantly to the west.

A few feckless politicians showing up at a protest for a sound bite is not getting off the mat. Time for a new generation of Democratic leadership that understands the rules of the game have changed.

Thanks. Its funny because I have lots of very dramatic sunset pictures from the Outer Banks, but I keep coming back to that more understated dock shot as a favorite.

In case anyone doubts this was a full blown Nazi salute.
