Yesterday, I met with a 12 year old boy in Oxnard, CA. His mom and dad have been fieldworkers for over 20 years. ICE agents snatched his parents from the fields and left this boy alone with no clue when he’ll see them again. A 6th grader.

Gavin Newsom called the National Guard deployment "unlawful." Good! If he believes the unit is still his to command, then he should order them to leave LA and return to their armory. Give the lawful order for them to stand down and dare the California Army National Guard to defy the governor.
