Had a great time this evening listening to Tim Grimm and Sergio Webb perform at Eagle Creek Park tonight.

And this was Indianapolis today. bsky.app/profile/ayyy...

Remember this picture, & others like it, every time you hear someone in your city say "we're not Amsterdam." This was #Amsterdam in the 1970s. Many of the cities we admire made better choices regarding cars in the past. and are still making better choices today. Better choices instead of excuses.

I biked the NEW segment of Indy's Eagle Creek Trail Sunday from Dandy Trail Rd east 1.7 miles to Crawfordsville Rd's intersection with I-465. Next year, if funding doesn't evaporate, the trail will continue SE to Speedway's B&O Trail. This 60 sec clip is my 1st attempt to record a ride. Needs work!

It was a beautiful day to #bike on the Eagle Creek Trail in #Indy. Today I learned that while a guardrail might protect a cyclist from a crashing car, it might not protect you from the cast iron, 100 lb, storm drain inlet hood that a crashing car can hurl 15 ft onto the trail. 5/29/25.

Grisly photos taken this afternoon along W 56th Street on Indy’s #EagleCreek Trail.

My feed is 99% Indy news. But a few times a year, I'm going to ask you for your financial support. We're looking for 500 new donations of any size. It goes towards us bringing Indy residents news they can read, whether they donate or not. #MirrorIndy500 #HoosierSky mirrorindy.org/donate/

My cycling route yesterday included pausing to watch the rowing practice for this weekend’s B1G Conference Championship at #EagleCreekPark in #Indy.

Just finished a five-day Chicago-area visit for my daughter’s birthday. Stayed in Libertyville for biking and bird watching. Walked to local restaurants and train station. Took Metra to West Town, CTA bus to visit WNDR Museum in West Loop and Vaca’s Creamery in Wicker Park. A nice visit. 🚲🪶🍦🚍🚆🚶🏻

One of the biggest (and most annoying) changes in gym culture is between set internet scrolling.

Sickening. This atrocity happened less than 1/2 mile from where Dylan Rogers was killed 3 months ago along Raymond.

I spent some time last week adding a few #bike "amenities" to #Indy 's MPO's Ride Guide map. I noticed that parts of the Big 4 Trail in Zionsville weren't displayed. An email I sent to Holly at MPO about this got corrected in just a few days! The Ride Guide is "open" for input thru May.
