God, I love this movie so much. I knew nothing about the case when I first saw it in the cinema, and it immediately gripped me from the start. It perfectly rides the line between drama and true crime.

It’s just amazing when a film can get its hooks into you and you have zero idea where it’s going to take you.

Yeah, it starts with such a simple premise, and it just escalates and escalates, but in the best way possible.

This was originally going to be Beverly Hills Cop, then Sly rewrote the script with Paula Gosling, took it in a different direction, and it became Cobra. Then the original BHC idea was offered to Eddie Murphy.

We can't tell people what we feel when watching a trailer, but we can tell people what other people felt while watching it.

The actions scenes (especially two major action sequences) feel so disconnected from the rest of the film, in both style & tone. It’s like they were shot by a completely different person.
