Quick someone get the crayons and explain the Cold War to him and the current authoritarian dictatorship

Paying for porn when it’s free everywhere is not comparable to dating instead of wanking. Anyone who thinks they get more like a relationship from onlyfans is just as deluded as men who go to brothels and think the prostitute loves them

Since 2016 it’s just been a steep downward slope! First with UKIP and the like and now it’s Reform and because of Trump some people think it’s okay to be openly Nazi!
comment in response to post
I mean it’s great all these only fans workers? If that’s the right word are paying their taxes….. but my main question is who are all these people paying for porn when it’s everywhere for free?
comment in response to post
There must be so many US ex military Republican votes that hate what the Trump authoritarian regime is saying and doing! All those proud military veterans and all those small government I’m well armed 2A freedom warriors seem very quite

Yeah why make modern tanks if you are afraid of using them because of modern anti tank missiles. Videos from the kit used in the first weeks showed there was lots of corruption in Russian military contracts & I’m not sure if they right people accidentally fell out of high windows to change that
comment in response to post
I have seen reports saying that Russia is churning out loads of new kit but keeping it in reserve, not sure if that’s pure propaganda though. I remember when the Soviet Union collapsed & all NATO forces were shocked to see how little kit they actually had and the state it was in
comment in response to post
Yeah from the first couple of months it looks like they were using Russian WW1 tactics, just keep sending wave and wave of people to die. The do seem to mainly be using people from areas they think are expendable & sanctions plus long range missiles into Moscow area will have more effect
comment in response to post
Yes the constant “Russia is only days away from victory” from certain sources for the last 2 1/2 years when in reality you look at what effect 15K deaths in Afghanistan had on Russia this war is just bringing misery for both sides.

All his businesses share prices are linked to government contracts and expected future investment so I’m surprised it took him this long to grovel

I don’t understand why anyone would actually want any household appliance to have any form of smart feature or wifi capability. Does anyone really want a fridge to email them to say they are running low on cheese or share their shopping/eating habits with whoever buys that data!?
comment in response to post
If only that was the reality we lived in the polls would look a lot different

You don’t buy an education you buy connections and an old boys tie! That is what sets you up for life (well after already being born into privilege obvs)

I think from reports at the time it was that Eton overconfidence in his own abilities believing that he couldn’t lose was the problem and then when I did he just quit and left the problem to others. Sadly as always he was still later rewarded for his failures
comment in response to post
You kind of hope they bought it second hand dirt cheap of someone desperate to get rid of it just for shits & giggles
comment in response to post
Agreed as is plain to see with Boris Johnson saying “of course we won’t leave the single market” before the referendum and then later we do with it being suggested that it was the will of the people. Whole thing an utter farce
comment in response to post
Problem was one side was allowed to promise a Utopia without anything to back that up and the other side relied on experts informing possible downsides which was just dismissed as being negative about Britain. It was never a factual fair debate
comment in response to post
Project fear should have never been left as it was. The whole referendum was a mess, a very complex issue with a yes or no answer. Well informed people instructed possible negative effects & vote leave was allowed to say nonsense and promise the world without evidence
comment in response to post
And this is why other parties shouldn’t try to court their vote as these people will never be happy and like some who voted for Brexit their feeling is “I have nothing to lose worst case I make others unhappy as me”. Other parties should be promoting positive changes

Imagine paying a lot of money to go on a nice holiday and then looking across the pool to see the state of the other guests in the hotel

It baffles me the lack of training the majority of US law enforcement receives but not as much as the lack of action around negligent discharges. People get shot by police in many different ways when they were not the intended target yet the officer keeps their job & firearm license
comment in response to post
Whilst I agree with you on both points the difference in the US makes it far worse. RUC had many faults but they were still better trained that most US police. British Army gave long training packages before deployment in working around civilians and the national guard next to nothing

Yes we all have our cross to bear but anyone publicly using it is outcast and shunned as a minimum

I think a lot of people no matter what their beliefs need to remember contempt of court charges can be pressed for social media posts. Police have been forced to release more information than normal (because of last years riots) but everyone needs to wait for the court reports

Point being if you’re Dad didn’t fuck you wouldn’t exist and if you even considered telling your dad how to fuck you’re a freak who needs therapy
comment in response to post
I did say it’s logical just how the language works now if you want to change how you use it that’s fine just don’t go and then try telling the country of origin they are using it wrong. It’s like trying to tell your dad how to fuck

Nachorito? Ned Flanders in a Mexican restaurant? You can definitely keep staycation if you want to keep it just use it for time off in your own house not for a vacation in your own country/state or we’ll send the red coats back over
comment in response to post
Maths is plural as multiple forms of mathematics but also it’s our language and if you can’t be trusted to use it properly then give it back and get your own language.

That’ll just be my bad grammar. I love stand up and those two were only ever on my radar for rage clickbait not comedy and I’d forgotten they existed until the rage clickbait story yesterday

Tell AI to write the email explaining why AI can’t do the job….. if up on high says “I can’t even make sense of this” Reply that you used AI to write it and that’s why it can’t do the job

I still think the best and easiest way to increase treasury spending and cut debt is to change thresholds on inheritance tax. Billions would be raised & people would still inherit large amounts. Won’t happen because of all the 50+ people who want every penny to go only to their kids
comment in response to post
Of course (works now you bastard!) autocorrect either missed or changed Of to Or in a sentence so it doesn’t make sense but technology and AI is fantastic and going to take over the universe

I may not be invited on Live at the Apollo or do arena gigs but I am the king or that one pub in Benidorm that still books me!

I’ve just realised from your post that I thought all the chat was about Andrew Doyle not Lawrence…. And TBH as someone who loves stand up until yesterday I’d forgotten both existed

All Areas start with Pride in the Larger area and then whittle down to “we’re better than those heathens in the next village!” Depending on the audience

Every Yorkshire man I’ve ever met is very keen to point out how Yorkshire is by far the greatest place on earth. I’m from the south west and there is great pride in coming from the West Country Nation or Gurt Lush if you will.
comment in response to post
That can’t be right how is Yorkshire not 100%? Did the pole even ask someone from Yorkshire

Working class is used as a badge of honour and middle class gets used as an insult yet the line between the two has long since been removed
comment in response to post
People obsess over class in the UK constantly when in reality that class system is massively outdated and not reflected reality for decades
comment in response to post
Yeah that’s a lot of speculation and life saving drugs that (no where near all middle aged men are on) should be deleted
comment in response to post
So shouldn’t be long before someone has put that front page up against their dangerous speculation against another suspect who was a family man but just happens not to be white….. I’m sure it will be the same tone

The majority of the youth seem to be in a far better place than my generation was at that age but the older generation always complains about the next one. I find it’s quite bad among a lot (not all) ex military especially if they got to a decent rank and now feel they no longer have any power
comment in response to post
Personally I’ve seen a lot more middle aged men struggling to find their place in the modern world falling for the conspiracy theories and right wing talking points. Loneliest plays a part, as they’ve got older they’ve lost friendship groups and reasons to just enjoy life
comment in response to post
They do have a reach and it may be exaggerated especially with young men but there’s lots of older men who are listening to their podcasts or watching YouTube channels that’s the real danger. I’ve had old friends try to get me to listen to all the worst grifters in the last 8 years or so
comment in response to post
That just means you had a really good 3 day weekend
comment in response to post
People get so panicked about the youth of today (same as it ever was) when the reality is it’s the radicalisation of middle aged men that’s the problem
