Yes we all have our cross to bear but anyone publicly using it is outcast and shunned as a minimum

I think a lot of people no matter what their beliefs need to remember contempt of court charges can be pressed for social media posts. Police have been forced to release more information than normal (because of last years riots) but everyone needs to wait for the court reports

Point being if you’re Dad didn’t fuck you wouldn’t exist and if you even considered telling your dad how to fuck you’re a freak who needs therapy

I did say it’s logical just how the language works now if you want to change how you use it that’s fine just don’t go and then try telling the country of origin they are using it wrong.
It’s like trying to tell your dad how to fuck

Nachorito? Ned Flanders in a Mexican restaurant?
You can definitely keep staycation if you want to keep it just use it for time off in your own house not for a vacation in your own country/state or we’ll send the red coats back over

Maths is plural as multiple forms of mathematics but also it’s our language and if you can’t be trusted to use it properly then give it back and get your own language.

That’ll just be my bad grammar.
I love stand up and those two were only ever on my radar for rage clickbait not comedy and I’d forgotten they existed until the rage clickbait story yesterday

Tell AI to write the email explaining why AI can’t do the job….. if up on high says “I can’t even make sense of this”
Reply that you used AI to write it and that’s why it can’t do the job

I still think the best and easiest way to increase treasury spending and cut debt is to change thresholds on inheritance tax. Billions would be raised & people would still inherit large amounts.
Won’t happen because of all the 50+ people who want every penny to go only to their kids

Of course (works now you bastard!) autocorrect either missed or changed Of to Or in a sentence so it doesn’t make sense but technology and AI is fantastic and going to take over the universe

I may not be invited on Live at the Apollo or do arena gigs but I am the king or that one pub in Benidorm that still books me!

I’ve just realised from your post that I thought all the chat was about Andrew Doyle not Lawrence…. And TBH as someone who loves stand up until yesterday I’d forgotten both existed

All Areas start with Pride in the Larger area and then whittle down to “we’re better than those heathens in the next village!” Depending on the audience

Every Yorkshire man I’ve ever met is very keen to point out how Yorkshire is by far the greatest place on earth.
I’m from the south west and there is great pride in coming from the West Country Nation or Gurt Lush if you will.

That can’t be right how is Yorkshire not 100%? Did the pole even ask someone from Yorkshire

Working class is used as a badge of honour and middle class gets used as an insult yet the line between the two has long since been removed
comment in response to
post
People obsess over class in the UK constantly when in reality that class system is massively outdated and not reflected reality for decades

Yeah that’s a lot of speculation and life saving drugs that (no where near all middle aged men are on) should be deleted
comment in response to

So shouldn’t be long before someone has put that front page up against their dangerous speculation against another suspect who was a family man but just happens not to be white….. I’m sure it will be the same tone

The majority of the youth seem to be in a far better place than my generation was at that age but the older generation always complains about the next one.
I find it’s quite bad among a lot (not all) ex military especially if they got to a decent rank and now feel they no longer have any power
comment in response to

Personally I’ve seen a lot more middle aged men struggling to find their place in the modern world falling for the conspiracy theories and right wing talking points. Loneliest plays a part, as they’ve got older they’ve lost friendship groups and reasons to just enjoy life
comment in response to
post
They do have a reach and it may be exaggerated especially with young men but there’s lots of older men who are listening to their podcasts or watching YouTube channels that’s the real danger. I’ve had old friends try to get me to listen to all the worst grifters in the last 8 years or so

That just means you had a really good 3 day weekend

People get so panicked about the youth of today (same as it ever was) when the reality is it’s the radicalisation of middle aged men that’s the problem

You just know he wants a medal for his unhinged rants on social media
comment in response to

You can only assume he means fact checkers and standards for social media platforms and news outlets. Basically I think he means EU officials who won’t give US companies free rain to say and do whatever they want without complying with EU law, Facebook & X come to mind

I’d seen about coroners earlier and someone else posted that and whilst that is bad my mind thought of medical examiners as being for people alive needing treatment

That is interesting I’m sure there’s people who’ve tried to sue owners of properties with Ring bells that face into a public street.
And some who have Ring bells but don’t like others having them

Sheriff fatman can do a lot of damage to a whole community and can get people thrown into the US industrial prison system which can be very hard to recover from

Lord inbreeding is a lot fewer in number and they don’t tend to bother to show up and vote most times they just want the title. Not good governance agreed but

One thing that always baffles me is the amount of law enforcement that have ND’s (negligent discharges) or open fire in crowded places without careful aim shots and shot innocent civilians and they don’t get fired or lose firearms privileges or in the worst cases go to jail
comment in response to
post
What!? Surely with the cost of healthcare in the US all medical examiners are well qualified or is this more that if you’re poor and go to the emergency room you get what you get

I do like how they don’t seem to vet the candidates and it’s only after they’ve won the election a journalist checks them out and they have to resign due to previous crimes or social media posts

There really is something in the US about Cameras, all US cities have way less CCTV than European ones and the majority of people really hate the idea of them believing it’s an infringement of their rights. Be that on the street, in company/government buildings or private property
comment in response to
post
It’s utterly crazy in the US as you can be elected as a Sheriff, prosecutor or judge instead of being qualified and good at the job. Law and order seems very biased/corrupt and most don’t bat an eyelid yet you mention CCTV or speed cameras they lose their minds over civil liberties

I’m not 100% but I’m sure I’ve seen on here from the Byline times and the Byline Network (regional ones) that they have a similar name but are completely different groups

Just keep pointing out that he’s a problems man and doesn’t have any real solutions, every time he’s asked about fixing something he waffles nonsense that is totally unworkable.
If he wants to act like a real party keep asking for policy details to show the obvious flaws

It’s an odd one though and it says a lot about many of the people in the country because if I see someone like Farage or Johnson I’d say “look at the state of that Twat” and avoid them like the plague….. probably drink up and go to another pub

As a white middle age man I can only apologise for my people. It’s fair to say a high percentage have been radicalised but also we have a very high percentage of bell ends. Things always get taken too far be that racism, sexism or even the more healthy midlife crisis journey into Lycra

Your post made me look and yeah you’re not wrong! So many on the left are absolutists and if you don’t agree with them 100% on anything and take life seriously constantly they attack you. I’ve been very offline for the long weekend and so good to just relax and enjoy life away from this stuff

I know all the free speech warriors will scream about cancel culture or silencing people but words have consequences and the law needs to come down hard on anyone or media outlet that spreads lies for their agenda
comment in response to

I think society isn’t actually in that bad of a state but there are so many far right sites/individuals online that jump on any situation to stir up hate & radicalise people they had to mention he was white to stop that. With the riots last year a lot of that hate traffic came from out U.K.

Cheers if it’s got good pubs and restaurants and feels friendly it will definitely be added into the mix. Will check it out myself at some point, spent Easter & first bank holiday travelling around the south west.
Enjoy the pub crawl! 🍺😎

Hope you have a good one and I’d be interested in what you think about Taunton.
We are toying with moving back to the Gurt lush and have never been to Taunton but it’s in the mix (mainly because of cricket)
