I'd of thought most who "left" would also have kept a key for such events? (And major sports moments)

Still some similarities, how will cope, how to deal with others reactions, regret not supporting others with loss. I think it's a useful model to adapt, especially when we wrap jobs with identity.
comment in response to post
Redundancy best understood as a loss. All we know about the upset of other losses is there in spades.

This is what happens when you read the Mail. Its designed to just annoy and provoke, like the Sun, just ignore.

Strange to stress that someone is unelectable when (checks notes) he has been elected with a massive majority.

The total overreaction to "woke" has served right wing populism so very well. Even this academic seemingly swayed by it. 🤦
comment in response to post
Pretty concerned that any academic couldn't have predicted what was totally predictable.

This is what we need, aesthetically pleasing borders. Maybe then merge Portugal and Spain (nobody can tell you why they both exist), then unify Scandinavia and of course Ireland. No issues anywhere that I can see, lot of fun

Trump and Putin much the same at this point in time

Also chance for the Tories to put nice blue water between them and Reform

Is nasty stupidity a value?

Lots there to share with some people here in Spain (Spanish and other nationals) who aren't getting this positive message.

That is a very fair point, that coalition did a very good job of not washing its dirty washing in public. Maybe you row more inside a supposed "family" than with more formal partners?
comment in response to post
Do we want the toxic dysfunction when holding a party together to move to toxic dysfunction trying to keep a coalition government working?

Club not under-strength, just arrogantly chose an under strength team

Very good points. I'm not sure what details of our colonial past new citizens are expected to know? Do they need any knowledge of 14th century Calais for example?

Wish nothing but the worst for him but some sympathy with existing owners who thought going EV was a goodish thing to do before his mask slipped.
comment in response to post
All those existing Tesla owners who bought when brand was EV/hippy now finding second hand market also totally trashed as Musk fans tend also to be anti EV. Some brand journey.

I like the US stand up who asked his Dublin audience, you are an island, why didn't you fish?
comment in response to post
The fact it's a UK citizens test would suggest the writers know the UK is somehow involved. Otherwise why is knowledge of another country's history being tested?
comment in response to post
It's a strange brand journey thats gone from cool hippy e vehicle to mainly being attractive to the sort of people who hate EVs.
comment in response to post
I reckon second hand prices will crashing too as people try to off load. Not many want to be seen in a swasticar.

You look at Trump and can't see the difference with what Harris would be doing? Really?

There is plenty of evidence that the likes of Farage, Robinson and now Braveman being enabled way beyond their reach. It's less head in sand and more you guys kicking their sand in my face.

My only awareness of this speech comes from you spreading it. Does this worry you?

Bruno was so so good.

Leanne deserved nothing. Didn't make one right call all series.
comment in response to post
To be fair this was before the Producers fixed it with the seer nonsense.
comment in response to post
Think it was maybe to prevent another traitor win.
comment in response to post
Harry was pretty smart last series but I take your point.
comment in response to post
Yes, all of them pretty poor but all of them occasionally got something right (maybe by chance), she didn't
comment in response to post
Got every single call wrong throughout the whole series. Thick as mince.
comment in response to post
Major Producer miscalls this series (so unusual) the seer thing was awful and ruined the game
comment in response to post
It's available free on BBC sounds

I'm more worried by the larger numbers who are excited by it. Why?

You mean it wasn't just me getting those messages?

It's close to tipping point

You are on a list of cool comedians who are on this platform that's being shared. Hi.

Good to see you here Peter, one of my fav tweeters

Similar to asking older folk have your watched TV in last 3 days
comment in response to post
Genuine why? I live quite near it and it seems to make more sense to avoid it at all costs. I guess I should go out of morbid curiosity
comment in response to post
Currently quality over quantity and also tad more serious but not a bin fire. I'm learning part of what I liked about other places was being angered by stupid people, which is a strange thing to learn about self.
comment in response to post
hello, this seems to have reached tipping point, good to see you here

I totally agree. It's is also passionately disagreed about by people who view generational wealth as core to a civilised society. It's probably more fundamentally disagreed about than any other other single issue. (Even more than people moving about!)

How useful, thanks
