The resemblance with Joseph Goebbels is chilling.

The only thing Trump and his band of radicals have brought to the table is sheer incompetence. They lack the will to put pressure on Russia because they actually believe Putin is right. Trump would love to do to Greenland and Panama, what Putin is doing to Ukraine.

Echt een huzarenstukje 'Art of the deal'.

In other words, they don't know what the f they're doing. They made the situation worse because they are incompetent. And now they are leaving the building they've set on fire, blaming everyone but Putin.

Well, in his mind, for a regular citizen to meet HIM, the reigning supreme god king leader, the savior of the people of the United States, that alone is an incredibly gracious gesture towards such a commoner. It's only fair he hands her some trinkets to commemorate the occasion.

What's even more disturbing is the fact that his followers will take his word for it. He has them convinced that every fact that contradicts him is a lie, fake news, or biased.

Ever heard: if you play chess with a pigeon, don't be surprised if the bird knocks over the pieces, shits on the board, and struts around like it won anyway? Well, these people are the pigeons.

They give conflicting lines on just about everything. Never in the history of governments has there been a more incompetent bunch of bird brains. It's infuriating.

This is exactly it. We had a discussion about this last night. The GOP has transformed so radically so fast that, even when the next Obama would rise to power, we can never trust the US again like we did in the past. The transatlantic alliance as it was is dead and buried.

What I just can't grasp, is the fact that no one within the GOP stands up to this ludicrousy. Is the party really so completely radicalized that they actually fully support the destruction of law and order?

What products do these 'low-end manufacturers' produce? If it's mainly the cheap mass goods from f.e. Ali and Amazon, I think this is not a bad development? The world is flooded with cheap goods from China. Maybe we need fewer products and more sustainability.

"We're looking into reports." Yeah, because it's not like Iranian drones have been in use for the last two years. You have to look into reports before you can determine if it's true.

"The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and DOGE will assess whether voter lists are consistent with federal requirements." Remember when Trump said: "We'll have it fixed so good, you'll never have to vote again". This is it.

Peskov claiming that "justice must prevail." The hypocrisy is disgusting. Even more sickening is the blatant admiration of the US administration for the Russian propaganda. America has become an ally of Putin.

Le Monde also publishes this poster by the German artist Wolfgang Tillmans. It’s a new version of the one he published during the Brexit referendum in 2016 to advocate for the United Kingdom’s continued membership in the European Union.

Trump and his crew of political noobs have no clue what they are doing. It's like giving a pickup truck to an infant and then wondering why he ran everybody over.
