Yeah the lobbyist is self congratulating on sycophantic LinkedIn. Meanwhile, we fund him indirectly

Yep, conflicts of interests are a huge concern particularly as we have the overlord of landlords lining his pockets.

Dreadful. Elements in our AoNZ coalition govt are out to privatise our national health which originally was modelled on yours. Defunding appears to be part of the strategy. No money for a new hospital, adequate staffing et al...

Lovely. Reminds me of the few times I've slept under natural ledges. Light and dark. Now I am hankering for some more.

Yeah I thought so too

Yeah fairly long but he gets into the weeds so to speak, exposing ineptitude, grifting et al

La Nina was uncharacteristically dry here in AoNZ over summer. Meteorologists try to explain. Me, she just dropped a tab of acid.

Nah all good. SM format, limited characters doesn't lend itself to any nuanced discussion.

No I'm good thanks as I'm very familiar with NZ film. I posted this about his current views not film.

It was particularly his views, eg the death of towns in US, and childhood experiences here in AoNZ which exemplify the widening gap between the rich and poor that were interesting. But fair enough.

Despite that its an insightful interview into his persona.

He fully acknowledges he's been associated with some dreadful productions.

Appropriate satirical lyrics. youtu.be/Kv-IxzPT50Y?...

Yeah, who would have thought. Imagine a major rewrite of trade away from the US. Or some foreign politician having an apoplectic moment as inflammatory as Trump threatening to Boycott USA until impeachment.

This is what we're up against in AoNZ, one of our politicians in power youtu.be/8_A3I2kv4Js?...

Not only did covid reveal to us all the tinfoil MAGANZ nutters but a new wave of misogynists. Deplorable that the male politicians in power are all silent invertebrates.

Maybe that's why there's all this sabre rattling, from fear of em being called in. They won't as its about foreign reserves. Interestingly Japan is highest owed $1.1T by the US, China ~ $0.9T

Yes, the protagonists of growth at any cost are rolling back any protections from the previous govt who were trying to turn the corner. It's going to be a bumpy ride. Many are pissed.

hmm very out of date report. This was ALL prior to the coalition got into power who are all for growth growth growth or dig baby dig. Fast track legislation bulldozing biodiversity is making the dire situation go from bad to worse. The slogan nz is clean and green is just that tourist marketing.

Nah, you're good. It was unexpected and tragic as he was so young and vibrant.

Crash my morning just stopped. I didn't realise he had died, so so sad. Such a captivating communicator who really shone.
