But was it the Absolute Fool in Chief who ACTUALLY cut the intelligence sharing?
comment in response to post
Well, all I know is our president is an absolute fool so he thinks he's being funny or clever and coming across as a tough guy by referring to Canada as the 51st and Trudeau as the "governor". That's all I've got.

You said he wanted to scare the rich health execs. "I don't have a bloodlust and I wouldn't call for more attacks" is not condoning it. But if it happens again, you're fine with it?
comment in response to post
I'll add this- you say you don't condone this stuff but if it happens again you're basically fine with it... Do I need to type out the obvious here?

You're referring to him by his 1st name as opposed to something like the shooter, etc. Probably redundant of me to add the "1st person" part. I only agree that there shouldn't be a terrorism charge, that's all.

They only like the *unborn* ones...

Exactly. And they have the $ for the security.
comment in response to post
I agree, I don't think it was terrorism. It was a single, targeted person. But this isn't the way to have an industry change how they write software programs. The fact that you're referring to him by name in the 1st person doesn't bode well for you.

Critical thinking, some people just don't get it.

This is a REALLY bad take. "The CEO was a murderer of thousands" in a medical insurance situation isn't the same as someone walking up to said CEO and shooting him in the back. Company executives CAN face legal consequences if the correct paths are followed, and that's where the actual problem is.

No Gary, he shouldn't be "elevated" whatsoever. They're literally making him look like a star with protection.

I know it, and it's pissing me off more than I already am at the current *events*...

I fully agree! It totally sensationalizes the entire thing. But I don't think the NYPD, or media for that matter, see it that way.
comment in response to post
They probably think that others who may attempt something similar will see this as an example of what will happen to them.

President-elect Trump, in his first news conference since the election, LIED about a range of topics, in addition to repeating a number of familiar LIES. Here’s a fact-check of his LIES. Fixed it for you NYT.
