this sounds a lot like a plot hatched by @mrspockscat.bsky.social to me!

Fun fact: i previously told you that DMT (psychoactive component of Ayahuasca) is produced in the body (bsky.app/profile/angr...). Research is investigating whether its production is associated with near death experiences

i'd always wondered what pool attendants did during the winter season.

trump is getting a lot of golf in, though.

...and then i just realised. this is not a screenshot of something mailed to these people. this is a screenshot of something he put on twitter.
given he could buy trump 100 times over. how did this guy get to be the most powerful person in the US?

interesting. how does one ask a question of Ms. Bird?

this is hugely funny. the same model works for police, doctors, and firefighters. they have a lot of downtime. therefore to optimise things and make them more efficient, we're going to sack 90% of them all.
it's simply the Mythical Man Month all over again.

slightly ironic that they're out there thinking they're protecting the US from the Fifth Column, when they themselves are actually the Fifth Column itself.

'tis true. 'tis also a very wonderful thing. the @england.nhs.uk app has a nice list, and prescription history. in an emergency, just show it.

winchester has been slowly but surely reducing the amount of parking in the centre of the city. air quality, caused by the 1-way system, is bloody awful. getting cars out of the centre of town and into the huge P&R's on the outskirts. yes, please!!!

not just the EU, but the #CE mark (or have a legally identical #UKCA mark, who cares...) is internationally recognised and will get over a load of trade impediments worldwide.

alignment is hugely important. standards on food, etc. basically everything. #UKCA has been a slightly amusing failure, and was never going to be recognised by the EU. but #CE gets you close to the #customsUnion. #ECJ close to the #singleMarket #smallSteps

musing on the rearmament problem. the other part of rearmament is that you need to increase the size of the army. the UK birthrate is 1.5. there just aren't that many young people to put into the army without really damaging the economy. no "empire" to conscript soldiers, either.

not like the good old days where families had 5 kids, so you could send 3 off to war knowing that you have "the heir and a spare" at home.
give everyone two guns, i guess.

i've seen that with the measles outbreak... taking hold in unvaccinated kids mainly, they're actually blaming vaccinated people for spreading the disease. via the vaccine.
we have reached post-science, haven't we.
