In Bruges. Unbelievably, we have today people who are interested in staging a Nazi reboot, only this time in the United States. Stay close to the candles.

My attitude has certainly changed. Letting him off the hook and electing him again is a failure of civil discourse in the US. Political parties shouldn't receive support like a sports team, voters need only lend their votes temporarily, with no need to justify the politicians' actions thereafter.

Exactly. Why wasn't he wearing his United States Senator robes? He was clearly hoping for a reaction.

Oh look at his neck. That poor man.

Won't somebody think of that poor Tesla?

Nor will Jesus if Johnson ever makes it that far.

At least 1000 French civilians died, but we're guessing really. Some people would have just been passing through, fleeing the fighting elsewhere. Finding out what to do and where best to go for your safety must have been incredibly difficult.

It's typical Starmer isn't it? Overthinking everything, trying to consider every legal nuance. Morality is not defined in UK law, therefore he struggles to act. I guess it's always going to be a problem when we elect someone with a legal background.

It'll be Biden's fault. Remember, in Trump Land the Democrats control the weather.

People all around the world listen to Jimmy Kimmel, he's a top guy. The guy he's talking about? Not so much. Americans will catch up eventually, they always do.

On the plus side, we can now assume that the cover is square, without having to wonder about it.

Unfortunately, this was not the Nazi's worst civilian attrocity, there were many, the worst being that of Monte Sole in Italy. This is why fascism must be fought and defeated.

Honestly, this post is such self-defeating rubbish. The courts are still working. Protest peacefully. Don't break the law. Organise with others and win elections at all levels. The fascists always overplay their hands. They love money and don't like to share. Infighting is what they always do.

Their goal is the ethnic cleansing of Gaza. I agree that there are definite echoes of Warsaw, except for Hamas' history of attacks on civilians, which has helped the Israeli government justify their actions, to themselves and many willing ears. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_...

Can confirm.

Yes, because when they do, Israel would stop taking land from the Palestinians. As an example, if you ever suffer a home invasion, rest assured that all you have to do is stop resisting and you will get your house back.

And meanwhile, US government spending has nonetheless increased.

Someday, someone is going to have a great time sacking Trump's people. Perhaps they could televise it. Call it "Deliverance"

Thank you to everyone involved. This young fox is not the most important thing in the universe, but people taking the time and effort to help someone or something in need is, without doubt, the most important thing in the universe.

2025: The GOP decide that contrary to their previous fervent denials, they are actually going to introduce cuts to.... well you can probably guess where this is going, but then again, see how happy the fake Christian looks.

2024: Biden accuses the GOP of wanting to cut Medicare and Social Security, which they fervently deny.

Yes, but I still watch segments from MSNBC. For news, I only watch shorts on YouTube. Ironically I probably see more clips now from Fox than before because they're being featured by the YouTube channels we follow.

Good morning from Bruges. An excellent choice of art, as usual.

At the time people who seemed to know about voters, governments and economics were suggesting a minimum of 10 years before a possible readmission. It turns out that their predictions were pretty good, but what happens now?
