Here to fight the powers that be, unapologetically at that. Hoping for large accounts to unite with the smaller and build a strong collective! Actions speak louder than words, be in the moment and don't take for granted that there will be a tomorrow.

Huh. So in other words, they won't be revisiting the SAVE Act or budget until the 28th? Huh.

SAVE Act, budget and whatever else is on pause?

Soooo no voting in the Senate for two weeks?

I've had fantasies of managing them. Literally having the opportunity to stand before ALL of them, tell them that if they are divided, so are we. That no one listens to us despite the polls telling them, you're making huge mistakes. It's beyond frustrating as this maniacs grip gets stronger.

And it's nothing new, been going on since 2014 and it's BS. Right now, this is the last thing we should have to deal with. We need UNITY and we need it fucking now both in congress and on the ground. I feel no one is listening as the dynamic continues.

This goes for DC Dems AND voting Dems alike. I share your war cry here, oh I do and preach about it to them every day. Although, there is MUCH divisiveness going on with the far left, being total condescending assholes to those they feel aren't progressive enough...without even asking if you are.

Huh? Who's on a 2 week vacay?

Well what is going on with Signalgate? Is it DOA? Honestly, as leader, please answer because the public is in the dark.
And yes the removal of books is Hitler 2.0. It's disgusting.

Admitted? More like, you're the leader and we "need" you to lead. This is what I'm saying, it's like you're putting someone on a witness stand and making accusations, that aren't valid actually. There is no other "leader" in the Senate, he hasn't been kicked out and runs again in 28.

I'm living in the now and now, we need him to represent us so the whole minute of effort was worth my trying. I've also spent far more minutes on getting him to step down as leader, to convince Congress to get him to step aside. All of a sudden so many judgy, Director Dan's out there.

I've read this entire thread and glad it finally got to a place of peace, with at least one person. Personally, I have Progressive values but have noticed an uptick of aggressiveness if one hasn't arrived to the left yet. No side of the same party is going to beat fascism. We must unite. That's all.

One would think Pelosi and Jeffries did. That's his job. No one says he didn't but nevertheless, 4 defectors.

Doubtful. We're in limbo here. As Leader, he should communicate with us, even for a minute, daily. We have no idea if the Senate is unified on the Save Act, no idea when this is going to the Senate Floor, no idea if Signalgate was ditched, and no idea how they are dealing with insider trading. Grrr.

I told Gillibrand to never email and ask for money again. Since the CR disaster, she hasn't. I wasn't nice. 👹

Personal mission of mine. They'll need their own save act.

Ugh, "ruling". Yep, I'm that person who sees their error and corrects themselves!

What is the benefit and/or downside for doing this or saying, "no"?

Everywhere now! Have blocked around 10 since Monday. Same stuff dating back to 2015. Most aren't wrong along the corporate donation lines, but they aggressively "shout" their points at you and treat people like they are ignorant and stupid. Doesn't unite us, therefore possible divisive tactics.
comment in response to

With your new position with the DNC, will you now read your comments? You're right about all you say here but the problems we have are messages with little action. The Dems not being united is our biggest issue. That and corporate donor they are indebted to before us. Show us you mean it with action

Special! Mine too. Giilibrand. We know what to do!

Be part of the solution. Being above everyone is off-putting. We're all human and some need a nudge. If all you want to do is talk down to people, you're not being part of the solution which is unison against fascism ffs!

Carol, 4 Dems voted yes. Crazy.

I respect and understand your plight, I do. Just again, you can be informative without being condescending. Try it, please, because obviously you have our best interests at heart. We have to unite and it won't happen jamming, instead of helpful, informing of the way things need to change. Peace.

I truly believe there has been a huge shift. Non maga's are freaked out, justifiably so. They see AOC, Bernie, Crockett, Swalwell out there, balling. Trust me, the old school is on its way out, Schumer's decision didn't help. I don't think anyone is married to those whose interest are donors first.
comment in response to

Helpful hint, aggressive shouting this at the "99" might not be the best tactic. There is a difference between speaking TO a person, than AT a person and being condescending. I think there are more people who want big money out than you think. They may just not know who abuses it. Ya dig? Unite.

I thought the ICC wasn't able to investigate or prosecute the United States no? I mean, if there is some loophole, I'll loop right through it!

I do know! I've told you numerous times, and yes, I did watch it!

Yea well you're not the only one who is angry as fucking hell! And yes, our side IS partially responsible for that. But what do you propose we do right now? Instead of "schooling" me, which I do not need, how bout uniting with me for a tangiable solution that can change NOW. That'd be nice.

Dude, all I did was put pressure on him to do the right thing. I do that a lot via phone, email and here. It gets shared, more pressure. I'm not just going to fucking sit here and do nothing.
I can't do shit about his betrayals other than pressure Congress to shake shit up. What are you doing?

Well, in a normal world, it would mean they tell this prison, whom they've sent a ton of loot to, to release him and someone will be there shortly to bring him home.
In dystopia? Not sure and I'm not convinced he's even alive. I am not religious but am praying for him.

Bashing each other has never helped has it? The common ground now is saving democracy and humanity. We can protest those in our own party who fail to meet us but, until they are out, this is what we have and deeper division is what the fascists want.
SNAP THE FUCK OUT OF IT PLEASE. UNITE.
