Also, the reason it’s called the “100 day cough” is because the bordetella pertussis bacteria destroys the cilia lining the airways, and it takes that long for the cilia to grow back. #VaccinesWork #VaccinesSaveLives

I’ve personally diagnosed multiple whooping cough cases in the past few months, in multiple states. The cough sounds like in the video, and the kids are suffering, non-stop coughing, and struggling to catch their breath/to breathe. It’s awful.
