Growing up, my dad replaced alcohol with God and decided rock music belonged to Satan so we couldn't listen to anything but gospel, country or him on his guitar, which was actually pretty good. I would quietly listen to WLS out of Chicago at nite because he said no to it. Such a rebel 😏

On my 4th birthday we went to town and there were flags lining main street. My dad told me they were flying just for my birthday. I was giddy with excitement. Then I learned to read and looked at the calendar and saw my birthday was on Flag Day. My dad pranked me 😂
