Had a good ~40 minutes crossing the Legion Bridge to contemplate the vehicle in front of me. A lifted Dodge Ram 4x4 tricked out in chrome with Tennessee tags in a holder that said “certified super saiyan” 2 different Buddha stickers 1 Grateful Dead sticker and 1 Dallas Cowboys sticker. Naturally.

I was once stuck on a 14 hour flight sitting next to a Chinese man who, as a matter of convenience I guess, wore a diaper on the flight. Unfortunately both the flight and the diaper were full so there was no escape for me, and obviously he wasn’t sprinting anywhere.

You know that movie trope where something important is happening and everyone around the world is watching at the same time on big screens in Time’s Square/Harajuku/Dubai etc?
