I work for a 100 million dollar company. This week on a call our CFO admitted he couldn't figure out how to create an Outlook rule, so he turned his e-mail over to an AI to handle.

Nazi's demand violence. It is the only reasonable response to their worldview, because their worldview is anathema to tolerance.

Literally the same shit they said in 2020. Meanwhile, their product will still tell you that many brands of paint are perfectly safe to drink.

As someone who grew up with dairy cows. Yeah. Poop. Lots of it. Doesn't matter what you do before milking.
Go to the kitchen of any dairy family anywhere and look in their fridge. Guess what you won't find?

Negotiated a contract to clean up poor code last week. During the interview they mentioned the code was AI generated. I told them that would increase my requested hourly rate by 85%. When they asked why, I explained they'd just admitted I'd be effectively starting from scratch.
I start Monday.

Graham crackers should be in more everything. I want pecan turtles, but with graham crackers instead of pecans.

The sickening part of that is that for the higher brackets, those amounts are relatively meaningless. If you're making 80k a year, $800 doesn't mean that much. But if you're making 17k a year, it's a goddamned fortune.

I have worked in IT for twenty years, mostly teaching machine systems to communicate with each other. And every printer on the planet is more complicated and delicate than the most complex integrations I've ever built.
Printers can fuck off into the sun.

Was walking the dog the other day, and one of my neighbors asked me if I ever do laundry.
I then explained that I work from home, and just buy two-dozen sets of identical clothes so I'm always perfectly comfortable, because no one is judging what I wear.

I brush my hands together and then display my open palms, like a blackjack dealer about to go on break. My dog typically maintains a Pit Boss level of suspicion.
