Violence runs on ignorance, fear & misinformation fomenting hatred. It is always about power, petty, political, sexual, economic. Education in empathy, trust, respect & desire to approach truth & seek justice is the response.

A textbook decision by SCOTUS showing us why we are already a second rate country, protecting sunset industry/technology against the obvious new energy future.
Imagine protecting the candle industry against electric light, ice delivery vs refrigerators.
This is why China will eclipse the US economy

Because there's money sloshing around for them.
Because as it develops they think it will make it easier to control the population, control the vote.
Because they're lazy, Ill informed, and don't really give a damn about anything beyond their personal ambition and interests.
Most Dems fit the model.

Self-examination (personal, collective, political, historical) is what our news and entertainment media work 24/7 to insure does not happen.
We are always moving on, issues are binary, violence resolves conflict, we are a free people, our institutions are good, but some people are bad.

I think he does things for a "reason." He calculates his advantage in terms of visibility and enrichment.
The Iran issue is indicative. He creates a game show atmosphere where makes the rules, and he is host and contestant. "No one knows."
The news media loves it as spectacle is what the sell best.

Then head of CBS, Les Moonves said it clearly back in 2016. Trump "may not be good for America, but it’s damn good for CBS."
It's not about news or policy. Not about "our democracy," it's not about public service. It's about selling stuff. It's about money.
The bottom line is the bottom line.
