A LARGE number of our modern societal issues stem from the fact that we have no idea how "the algorithms" work.
We have NO IDEA how they change on a day to day basis.
Even just having this information and thus, choice, would allow us to better control our own experiences on the internet.

For those of you who are curious, the KN scattering angle refers to the likelihood and distribution of scattering angles resulting from when a photon scatters from (i.e. bounces off of) a free electron.
it's quite useful for predicting and reconstructing radiation interactions in a general sense.
