@steeber.bsky.social This should pique your interest. Looks like they put a lot of effort in to get as close of a match as possible. .https://www.ebay.com/itm/126870474967?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=p8clzozpsb2&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=nQaCRvZhR8K&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

The Apple Research app illustrations are always top-tier. Great use of color, just enough detail to convey the message, and they’re often oh so whimsical. Whatever illustration style this is, I love it.

@marcoarment.bsky.social does your iX not support car keys in Wallet?

@liss.bsky.social have you heard this one? I only notice it in the quiet of my room, right after laying my AirPods Pro down to charge, immediately as I close my eyes for the night. Turns out AirPods occasionally play a “quiet chime” to calibrate the mics and speakers. www.reddit.com/r/airpods/s/...

We really take photojournalists and the work they do for granted. www.cnn.com/2025/01/07/w...

As an Apple purist, I’m appalled by what my mom has done to her watch.

@myke.social do you suppose, among other things Cook may have been currying favor for with King Charles and the PM, is integrating the UK’s upcoming digital IDs into Wallet? Japan is on board, so are what’s now a hearty number of US states… seems like the UK would be a massive boon for IDs in Wallet

There’s very few shows or movies I’ve ever felt worthy of calling “beautiful”. Shrinking deserves that honor.

Have you ever tried explaining to someone that their phone case is for a different iPhone and they say something like “Well how would I know that? I mean, it fits.” Yeah, it does. Also, did you ever notice how freakishly large that camera cutout is compared you YOUR ACTUAL CAMERA???

@snell.zone @myke.social for years I’ve had these saved for just the right moment. And that moment is now.

As with almost everything Apple ships, it may take time, but adoption eventually comes.

Walking through midtown Manhattan tonight wearing AirPods Pro and switching on Noise Cancellation felt like a freaking commercial. It’s one thing to tune out landscapers or road noise in the car. It’s another to cancel out the sounds of an entire city.

Apple Photos desperately needs a “On This Day” feature for any and all photos and videos taken on the current day/month.

I feel like so much of our politics can be explained by the fact that Daniel Perry is hanging out with Trump and Vance, while the liberal establishment is flummoxed by Luigi Mangione’s appeal.

This was pretty neat. Felt like a real “it just works” moment. I activated an AMEX gift card from work and Safari prompted me to save the card details for to use with Autofill. Then, once I did that, Wallet prompted me to add the card for Apple Pay. Anyone know if this is new on 18?

Drove a Rivian today. Someone stop me from going home, opening my laptop, and doing something stupid.

Anytime I send someone an image of themselves made using Image Playground they almost always reply “That’s terrifying.” To which I say, “It’s not terrifying—it’s Apple Intelligence!” and then I send an MP3 of the that music that plays at the end of all the commercials. 🎶 I AM GENIUS 🎶

Any day that a new state launches IDs in Apple Wallet is a good day.

I’m sitting here at the coffee shop, waiting for everyone in my running group to show up, and I’m sitting at a table with four college kids. Each one is using a Mac—and damn it’s putting a smile on my face.

Just booked my fourth trip to Washington this year. Gee, almost seems like I should move there… 🤔

This is just the beginning 😎

There’s a guy I see at the gym and he’s giving “My kids graduated college and now I’m an empty nester” vibes. And as someone with dad energy himself, I feel like we’d really hit it off. Trains, maybe? Or US history? One of those things is sure to get him talking.

The first two minutes is nothing but bad hot takes.

In honor of today’s publishing of the 99% Invisible interview with Robert Caro about The Power Broker, here’s my favorite shot from the event last month. Currently on page 70 of 1200-something

Lucille is that you?

What are we calling these? Not a tweet, not a toot. A flutter? Anyway, Apple should really look into supporting NFC ski lift/resort passes in Wallet. It would make life access a cake walk—especially on the Watch.
