Yeah. Getting there isn’t bad. Usually frequencies are every 30 mins or so in the early evening. And after the concert, I guess you can always wait for the next train by getting another drink. 😁 Fortunately Lyft was only $30 to South Philly which isn’t terrible when splitting with others.

No, we took SEPTA Regional Rail there (super easy!) and Lyft back home.

People seem to like complaining about how expensive concert tickets are, but there are shows every week with lesser known musicians, many of whom are so much more talented than their more famous counterparts. Most of these are $30 or less. Please go out and support up and coming artists!

It shows the level of entitlement some people have around being able to assert their opinion and tell other people they’re wrong. I wish the internet didn’t become mostly about likes, comments, views, etc.

And to make it an absolutely perfect trip, add a few days to stay in Montreal for their annual jazz festival (mostly free!), eat lots of poutine and croissants, and experience their world class bike infrastructure and public space. youtu.be/_G_KxLdLmK8?...

The accessibility of seeing live music is one of the things I love the most about living in Philly. I can easily get to/from venues like World Cafe Live, Milkboy, The Met, etc on public transit. When I lived in Hoboken, it was a pain to take the PATH into Manhattan. I just didn't go out as much.

$1.2 mil asking if anyone’s wondering. Not terrible depending on how much rental income the ground floor will contribute to the mortgage. www.crexi.com/widgets/1281...

I'll encourage my son to sell today because I think it's served its educational purpose. I wonder if we should invest next in a crypto ETF. :)

Oh i forgot, yeah that’s gas but it’s a lot easier and cheaper to swap that with electric than the heater. I won’t get rid of the gas furnace until it dies at which point, I’ll just get a new electric dryer too.

I passed on buying tickets to their show at The Fillmore because I wouldn't have gone with the original lead singer; if I knew it was this new guy, I would've bought tix! And now they're sold out! concerts.livenation.com/the-fray-how...

I always thought the original lead singer's vocals were slightly out of tune and whiney. The new lead's vocals are much more in control and powerful. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gj-r...
