The real reason why I added this features?
Just so the player has two new animations to let them do this:

Thanks! I'm actually quite proud of my sound design, which is also the reason why this trailer doesn't have music.

Darn, forgot to change the hashtag to #ScreenshotSunday.
Too late to delete it and remake it now; I'll have to live with this mistake for the rest of my life...

As for me, my only purchase this Spring Sale will be... paying the Steam Direct Fee for Failed Falling!
The fee isn't on sale, of course, but I need to have a Steam page for it to, hopefully, start getting wishlists from players.
And if Minimal Slide sells this sale, it will be a moral incentive!

Basically, it was all a big waste of time and of the 25$ needed for opening the developer account!
If you want to humor me and the internet overlords, you can check the app here: play.google.com/store/apps/d...
Or just screw this and: store.steampowered.com/app/3163570/...

After keeping it active with already three updates since release, I just received the nth email demanding a new update, just one day after getting another one threatening my AdMob account if it doesn't serve ads soon.
All of this is so exhausting for a #solodev and with no reward for the effort...

I didn't advertise the game much, so I expected to maybe get close to 100 downloads, but it turned out that was way too optimistic, so I earned at most one digit cents.
That could be it, but then Google started pestering me: if you don't keep active your developer account, it will be closed down...

At the time I figured that, because #GodotEngine makes it very easy to develop for both systems at the same time, it could be a nice experiment to make it free on Google Play with ads and maybe earn a little from it.
It was already a pain to open the developer account, but it didn't stop there...

Went a bit crazy and I ended up writing 3 reviews today. They were all about games I played this summer, as they are maybe the best three games I played this year.
Writing them did help me reflect about the year that has almost ended, so I'm glad I've found the time to do it before the new year.

I can see why, as a #gamedev, setting a game's story during a precise part of the year is a bad idea, especially when it's strongly associated with festivities.
However, I can't not like the idea to, in the future, create a game like this myself: with games, going for safer bets is not my style.

I didn't expect it, but I loved the game, so much that I decided to replay it each year, playing each day in the game the same day of December in real life.
I never replay games, I always prefer to start something new, but VA-11 Hall-A is the exception and it's in part because of its structure...
