With all the videos of police illegally entering people’s home using intimidation & force to detain & deport American if not worse. Black peoples have dealt with that for centuries. It’s police brutality. That is beyond unconstitutional. That is why Colin Kaepernick knelt.… Now do you f’n get it?

When you think of what the US state has at its disposal, totalitarianism does not look impossible: - Facial recognition technology - Armed drones, that can take out marked people - A propaganda system already enmeshed in our lives (social media) - Militias ready to become death squads Resist now.

Just so we’re clear, everybody calling Kilmar Abrego Garcia a “terrorist” or a “gang member” are lying, and they know they’re lying, and they repeat it for purposes of confusing people who don’t follow this stuff closely into accepting what was done to him.

The projection is off the charts here

The ‘1984’-style Ministry of Truth in full effect

🚨BREAKING: Judge finds flying migrants to El Salvador after orders not to "demonstrate a willful disregard for its Order, sufficient for the Court to conclude that probable cause exists to find the Government in criminal contempt." Visit www.democracydocket.com for full details and analysis.

😮 HIDING ICE FLIGHTS: ICE charter flights by GlobalX have been removed from many flight trackers, and given the call sign TYSON --previously associated w/ Secret Service and a B52 bomber squadron. Tracked by tail number, here is TYSON41 which departed Texas en route to a destination South America:

from today's post about all the stupid shit that MAGA got up to yesterday — link to the whole thing is here: bit.ly/44rFgJd thanks for reading it!

If you're a reporter in a White House press briefing as the spokesperson for the government asserts flatly that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang who's guilty of human trafficking and you sit there silently without shouting out "PROVE IT!" I'd like to invite you to go fuck yourself.

Christians are not persecuted in the United States

Great question.

Today is Jackie Robinson Day in MLB, but what likely won’t be mentioned is how the Dodgers and MLB didn’t stand up for Robinson when the Trump administration tried to blatantly erase his history youtu.be/GGjn8ERT_Ew?...

Jackie Robinson, college student, officer, athlete was the first Black Player in @mlb.com because up until that moment Black Players were absolutely not allowed to play ball. Because of Racism. Jim Crow. Segregation. It must be said. Baseball should speak the truth. Jackie is a hero.

"the president defied a Supreme Court ruling to return a man mistakenly sent to a gulag... and spoke of sending Americans to foreign concentration camps. This is the beginning of an American policy of state terror, and it has to be identified as such to be stopped" snyder.substack.com/p/state-terror

160 years ago tonight, just days after the Confederate surrender, President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated while attending the play Our American Cousin at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. He died the next morning, April 15, at 7:22 a.m.

Bone chilling. A court ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia to stay in the United States. The Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that he was illegally removed. Trump is pretending he won the ruling 9-0. 1/ You may not think this case means anything to you. But let me tell you why it does.

During the first Trump administration they lost it when @aoc.bsky.social said they were running concentration camps at the border, and there were days of debate over terminology. Now, they are advertising their concentrations camps on Fox as central to their policy.

So essentially the president can do anything he wants, regardless of whether or not that’s his constitutional power, say no when told otherwise, and there’s really no mechanisms in this country to stop him? The branches of government and checks and balances were all just suggestions?

They tried to protect us (1868).

Y’all… we dare you to only watch this once…

Tomorrow’s going to be a good stress test of the press. El Salvadoran President Bukele will visit the White House. At the press availability, every Q ought to be about Abrego Garcia: where is he now? Did US ask you to return him? etc. WH will hate, maybe try to prevent, so all should band together.

Every time someone tries to explain to me how Liberation Day tariffs will bring manufacturing back to America.

BREAKING: 36k people showed up in LA for Bernie and AOC’s rally. In the off year. Americans are pissed — and anyone ignoring that is making a big mistake.

HAPPENING NOW: The Justice Department has missed a 5pm deadline to file details about Kilmar Abrego Garcia's whereabouts and efforts to comply with a judge's otder to facilitate his return. Still waiting to see if they're just a few minutes behind or not planning to file at all

“Civilizations die from suicide, not by murder,” according to 20th-century historian Arnold Toynbee. He claimed every great culture collapses internally due to a divergence in values between the ruling class and the common people…

BREAKING: An immigration court determined our client Mahmoud Khalil to be removable from the U.S. based solely on his political speech. The fight isn't over — we'll keep fighting for Mahmoud's freedom and all of our First Amendment rights in federal court.

Raskin: If they can just sweep someone off the street, put them on an airplane, and send them to a torturer’s prison in an authoritarian state like El Salvador without due process… then they could do it to anybody.
