This must be from the Pop Team Epic crossover episode

You can get a long black in Australia, if you need a normal name after this is all done.

I also think we're progressing through the nostalgia wave in real time. It felt like it was all SNES for a long time, then very recently PS1 everywhere. Right now it feels like I'm seeing way more N64 stuff.
So it wouldn't surprise me if Dreamcast and PS2 proper were right around the corner

Totes the soft pixel grill 3d.
I didn't really remember noticing that at the time, but now I've seen filters I remember and I'm fond of it.
Could be the same thing for interlacing. I don't remember seeing it, but I've seen old TV footage and it has a feeling to it.

A shame because I love that default piglet icon.

Repeatedly in succession, no less. Everyone wanted an app, everyone wanted blockchain, everyone wanted NFTs, everyone wants an LLM. All desperately hoping to chance upon the second coming of the PC or smartphone. A delusion inate to a system that demands growth, even when it doesn't make any sense

I've always thought about having the free aim controlled with gyro separate from the camera, which would be controlled just by the stick, in case you're interested in looking into that.

It probably doesn't really help, but you're definitely not the only one

Retroid Pocket and similar are like the switch but smaller, and you can dock them to a tv. There's a whole bunch of retro handhelds.
I was pretty tilted when the switch lite didn't dock. I would've bought one instantly.

Someone posted a link about facebook. I dunno anything about that but I think it's unrelated.

Average player count in VRChat is 30000. Fortnite has music events. If metaverse is immersive virtual worlds, it's still trucking.
If it's some kind of federated or all encompassing hub world, less so.

Oblivion level up blurbs are a little like this. They start like "Everything's a little easier, you feel likes it's all clicking into place" but then a few levels in it's like "At the back of your mind you know that it's just one slip, one stumble, and everything will start moving out of reach"

You totally should. Caves are cool

Yes, but also I don't think any corporation is bending the knee, they're maximising profits, which is what they always do.
If it was big bucks to change their logo to a swastika instead of a pride flag this whole time, they would've been doing it.

I think it's because this kind of spatial cognition is hardwired in our brain. Humans of all animals particularly would be interested in finding that exact grove full of berries, even after living nomadicly elsewhere for months.
At work once we talked through the whole Dark Souls map from memory

Yea, really not sure why they haven't added a ps4 style touchpad. Hopefully they'll be good on the new steam controller, if it ever exists
comment in response to

They're on the front, straight below the dpad and stick. You can see them if you look super carefully.
or just look up the controller elsewhere

I really wish I liked mine but its shape is agony for me, and every button is awful, but in a unique way. Besides a steam deck like, it would be great to have an improved touchpad centric controller, for sure

I read this as you live there all the time, and out of each year you spend a few months total in traffic.
Sound pretty rough

I think I was later than some but I only remember the fuzz and colour pixel grill, and didn't really get what everyone was talking about

That's sort of how federated media works. Since the data is open through the protocol, your blog post is still accessible through your short video app. That allows platforms to mix and match, or not.
It's a little unclear so far how it'll go in practice, but it sounds exciting

In fact to be more to the point, the way you said "from our point of view, Europe, etc" sounds very much like you're addressing Europe, as an American. So people will read your comment almost exactly backwards

Alright I've probably misunderstood your initial comment, my bad

"I'm American and I think people in Europe don't read books, but should, like we Americans"

Does anyone know why art from that period was like this? The Meganman covers too.
Was this the aesthetic goal at the time, so it actually looked good? Were they just awful artists? Or were they deliberately drawing horrible little goblins just to take the piss?
