the Egypt museum in Torino is nothing short of amazing. It's got the less glamourous nobles so you see a bit more of "real" life for the period. preservation is exceptional, including food artifacts. Caffe Al Bicerin Dal 1763 makes a wicked bicerin. I was buzzing for hours after one of those.

They should take a cue from Paris. The public toilets were paying and few and far between. The city and metro smelled of pee. Now there are a lot more and they are free. Rarely smells of pee anymore

Il ne faut pas oublier Korematsu qui est vu comme une énorme honte de politique et de justice. Les EU sont en train de rejouer celui ci

love this. My son is autistic and we weren't sure he would ever be able to ride a bike. this is him now at 11.

thanks, you're too kind. my wife sometimes thinks otherwise 😉. It's a Weber hitch. They sell several different models to fit various bikes. The Tern GSD has a dedicated mount point and won't work with the axle style mount. On my Yuba the axle mount works perfectly.

the kids grow up faster than you think, get a trailer and mount using stuff that was originally meant for cars. not as cheap, but better in long term bsky.app/profile/phat...

my kids are a bit older and they're into road bikes now. It's not safe for them to ride to the Paris Hippodrome, so I found some car roof rack equipment that would work and built my own on top of my #carryshitolympics trailer.

I've never had more random conversations than in NOLA. It's a bit shocking at first ("are you talking to me?"), but you get used to it and into it after a while. It's been 20 years since I lived there but still count many people there amongst my friends. great city.

I'm 100% for this. the problem is during the SUV vote only 5.4% of elegible voters bothered to show up. I feaf it might be even lower, despite the popularity of the policy
