Because people are whiny fucking crybabies who treat voting like a marriage proposal instead of a roadmap to a better future, so they can’t be bothered to get off their couch to vote for a clearly better candidate because she wasn’t the ‘perfect’ candidate.

If you burn down a forest, you don't miss out on lumber for just that season. You have to replant all the trees, nurture them, and wait for them to grow. The science and research budget cuts happening now are wanton, senseless arson. Recovery, if it ever happens, will take generations.

When my kids were in Montessori preschool one activity they could do was polish silverware with baking soda and a rag. We always joked at how genius this was, given their nimble little fingers. Bring child labor back next, maybe? 😭

(2/X) today. Amazon caved as soon as Trump hit back at them. But if Amazon, Target, all the big retailers did this Trump would have a hard time striking back at all of them and in the meantime he would sustain enormous political damage, probably too much to continue the tariffs.

A couple months ago I was seated on the aisle next to two elderly sisters. When I first sat down, the one in the middle declared, “well, this is your lucky day!” They were a hoot. By mid flight the FAs had given them wings, which they proudly wore. Definitely made my flight!
