Nothing to do with the german word for workhorse. And yes, some countries possibly now wish they'd bought Mirages or Gripens instead of F-35.

Just add more Ketamine than Oxygen supply to the cargo of Elon's rocket, and we'll never ever hear from him again.

Maybe we could send Elon to set it up on Mars?

Please let them take down the entire cretinous MAGA and christofascist Heritage movements as well.

In modern parlance: until the Leopards start eating faces, or in short, until it's FAFO time.

We'll see, but I'm sceptical – these folks seem to live in a hermetically sealed media and ideology bubble.

Currently there's no way I'd invest in either Russia or the US, no matter if it's in Rubles, US$ or any other currency.

Investors couldn't care less about fair elections as long as the Ruble is rolling*
* german expression for money is flowing, which I happen to think is perfectly appropriate for this moment.

Actually, it likely won't expose anyone, at least not to the folks who could use said exposing. They'll just feed the credulous MAGA masses some utter bullsh*t or other, using not only the usual channels, but official ones as well.

"Obviously" would seem to fit even better here.

They're like taxes, and laws for that matter: only for the little people.

That's quite literally the system they're working towards right now.

How many Russians actually wanted the Putinization of their country is unknown, and at this point quite irrelevant – which is the point of the Putinization.

Are we certain they're not the people actually writing those dumbest conspiracy theories?

Fun fact: there's also a contemporary description of Benito Mussolini floating around (couldn't find it right now though) that fits the Orange Turd just 💯.

Well, maybe that's just an antiquated way of thinking, and nowadays attorneys just need to know what the Godking thinks of any one case, since He's making the laws anyways.

They're just preparing the kids to a life under today's and future conservative rule.

It's also the sad look of the man who is perfectly aware that he'll be thrown under the bus mercilessly and without even a milliseconds thought at the first opportunity. Beautiful.

That's increasingly what it looks like. Maybe @therickwilson.bsky.social is right, and Europe does need to start building nukes, fast.

Labour costs in Russia (China, North Korea, and probably also Iran) are less than in the West, so it's not entirely an equal game of numbers. But yes, as long as nuclear weapons are not part of the equation, Russia might well be a less fearsome adversary than it appears.

It's probably either the European Army coming, or else the Russian.

And, fascinatingly, it almost certainly makes up a large part of why his voters see themselves in him, and love him for it.

Why just watch it? With his eyeliner, he'd fit right in to the show as front performer. (Wardrobe might need a bit of a helpful push).

Just guessing here, but might these be waters some Orange Shitgibbon eagerly awaits to get hot in order to be able to declare martial law and send in the troops?

Not convinced there ever will be a comeback from this, as it's essentially just starting and the dire consequences of the US electorate being unable to be serious will only gradually show in Ukraine/Europe, Taiwan, Canada/Greenland/Panama etc.

On the other hand "51st state but only for oil and water extraction and without voting rights" has that sweet sound of the Clarion of Liberty, doesn't it?

The plan as stated by MAGA is to annex Canada without giving Canadians voting rights.

Ah, but that's probably where we do not really understand their way of, uh... thinking: to them it's perfectly clear and obvious that a republican president naturally has completely different powers to a democratic president.

Are you writing about the US here or about Russia? Hard to see any difference.
