My first Bluesky post! As a forest scientist exploring human-forest connections, I thought I’d start by sharing the Jizo we saw while hiking Mount Hakodate, Hokkaido. Bodhisattva Jizo protect trails, travellers, and ease the suffering of all sentient beings, especially those in the realms of hell.
