Today, I just about managed 1000 words. It was tough. I felt like most of what I wrote was rubbish… but never mind! At least it’s written. Once I’ve found my feet a bit more in the second half, I’ll go back and edit. I’m up to 36,000 😅

I love writing for children but one thing I find very hard is working out how old the parents and grandparents of an 11 year old are likely to be, and all the calculations involved and assumptions of average ages of fertility.
