At 3 the ole' reliable Lightning Strike - bound to be one of the top commons in the set. But the other card, Scrap Compactor could be decent in some decks where it supports synergies. Killing ~60% of creatures for 3 and anything for 6 is not amazing but flexibility + synergy could make it OK.

Listened go your post event report on the grindcast, and tried a more midrange less synergy build for facetofacegames trios event yesterday. We came 11th, it felt great, first time using dimir in standard in quite a while, and first day with talent. Hit gruul 4 times, gotta board better next time.

My favorite mtg memory is going to MagicCon Philadelphia, I got one of the Ragavans, and sang American Idiot at Fergies pub karaoke, sharing a few joints with the band.
