I'm also fine with all of the other soaps failing too, especially Days. It's time for the old guard to die off for good and for a new crop of modern soaps to rise. It's way overdue. If the old guard refuses to evolve, then maybe they shouldn't be around anymore.

I literally haven't been sleeping too well since the inauguration because of how terrified and afraid I am with everything that's been happening lately. There's also been literally a couple of nights where I'm wide awake and I have a hard time falling back asleep.

Exactly. If Trump can become president in spite of the 14th Amendment forbidding him to do so due to him not only being a convicted felon but also having participated in an attempted coup, then what good is the Constitution? It’s practically worthless.

Yeah and Trump wants to get rid of birthright citizenship, which is guaranteed in the 14th amendment. If he can get rid of that, then he can definitely get rid of the Equal Rights Amendment. This means nothing.

Yeah what if the government decides to respond by sending troops to dispose of the protesters? How do we know this will actually work in the long run? This might make the government even more determined to squash any remaining opposition by any means necessary.

I predict that marriage equality is going to be completely overturned and RFK JR is also going to have FDA approval of vaccines removed. There might also be a nationwide abortion ban along with contraceptives being banned. Not to mention that the ACA is going to be gone along w/SS and Medicare.

I’m not sure if there is anything that we can do to fix this. I don’t think there is anything that we can do at this point. Unless something major happens, all we can do is just prepare for the absolute worst and brace for whatever awaits us. We’re as good as dead.

Today we’re supposed to eat at a buffet. I don’t think my daddy is going to accompany us since he’s feeling pretty bad and my mom also has a weird rash on her body. But at least we don’t have the flu. Anyways, after today I won’t be able to post until I get back to LA. Hope everything goes smoothly

Also the first excursion was way too short for my liking. All we did was ride on a tour bus and eat tacos. Yesterday’s excursion was more of the same except we actually got to eat at a restaurant and see a show.

Also so far the cruise is all right. I actually like the food at the dining room better than the Windjammer dining room; the only food that’s any good there is breakfast. I don’t like their lunch or dinner menu at all.
