Is it real, or is it Memorex? So, social media, and FB in particular, is releasing their role as a publisher, and is simply leaving it to the community to fact check and figure out before they post anything whether it’s real or not. So now we can all be editors in our copious spare time.

They've decided to just let whatever shows up in your feed show up. So now it’s up to all of us users to try and figure out whether the pics we’re passing along in memes are real or AI. Some of us don’t automatically leap to the conclusion that whatever pic we’re looking at is real, or is it AI?

to me, it was just a picture and didn’t necessarily mean it was a real picture. We have AI everywhere now. It’s everywhere, and it’s getting more everywhere now than ever before.
On top of that, I’m told that FB has decided not to fact check things.

I admit I know almost nothing about crypto currency, and also, I have no interest in it, but just looking at it from the outside makes me think it's something like a pyramid scheme. The people at the top make money and everyone else ... well, not so much.
