She is singing to her choir, but what she hasn't figured out yet, is that she is growing old and so is maga. They need more young supporters to survive, those they do have already see her as irrelevant

It reminds the oligarchs we outnumber them 😎

Sadly it won't, it never does. But it builds community and fires up the people, puts fear into the hearts of Republican representatives and cowardly democrats and hopefully shows the world we care. It won't bring innocent people back from Venezuela, stop the loss of rights or make MAGA wake the F up

We did the same thing in the UK post brexit. Same lack of msm coverage, and frankly sod all has happened since then to make things better. Good luck - I hope your protests end differently

Yes I got what he was saying, and I thought I corrected his misunderstanding. Now Im not sure. I live near a very wealthy community and all the stages of wealth or lack of it under them. It was so shocking to see stores so empty of people. Very disturbing.

This is not just an attack on the outcome—it’s an attack on the right to vote. We have many in our coalition volunteering online tomorrow to call these voters and help ensure their ballots are counted. We’ll drop a link to sign up—please join us in reaching every single voter on this list.

These voters will have just 15 days to reverify their eligibility, despite already presenting valid ID when voting in person.

The ruling stems from a challenge by Republican candidate Jefferson Griffin, who lost the race and is now contesting the eligibility of tens of thousands of voters—many of whom are active-duty military members.

The North Carolina Court of Appeals has ruled, in a 2-1 decision, that more than 60,000 votes cast in last year’s tightly contested state Supreme Court race must now be verified and recounted. This comes after two recounts already confirmed the original outcome.

Very true, but food is a basic necessity and when people are cutting back even in areas of wealth. That is a very loud alarm bell going off.
comment in response to post
yeh, i think this is alot more than food. Home Depot spring rush will fall off. Remodeling work will be put on hold. New home construction may be put on a pause for the season. the ramifications of this will rise dramatically between now and the end of summer.

Cramer was loudly on cable TV in 2008 yelling about how there couldn’t possibly be a housing bubble, not possible, anyone who is predicting an economic downturn is an alarmist. He’s a moron and nobody should listen to him about anything

I would add that the trauma of being tossed around, fired/rehired is real and should not be discounted. Seek help from a trained and licensed therapist. The impact is cellular and will continue to rear its head.

They will pull something really cruel in response to this

They can fool their deplorable base, but not the educated. It’s looking like a big money grab by the billionaires. We’re being robbed.

And meanwhile, even some Dem congress members are more concerned about 'decorum' and the "august Senate" and having their staff post useless platitudes to social media than fighting to save this country from itself. Spineless and weak. This is exactly what we deserve, sadly.

Democratic ones. One used hate to rise to power, the other ignored it to collect Wall Street checks. The America I grew up in, not always perfect but a leader on the world stage is gone. This is what it looks like when an empire ends.

the courage to confront Russia in 2014, because we didn't have the courage to demand a return of the Fair Play doctrine, because we didn't have the courage to impeach corrupt Supreme Court justices or to arrest the J6 leaders. Because we elected racists Republican leaders for 50 years and neoliberal

Some of us will never trust other Americans again either
comment in response to post
for god's sake. The trust is gone. And I don't mean with our government, I mean us - the rest of the world will never trust America again because we, you, me, millions millions of us let this happen. Because we did not have the courage to arrest him and try him for treason, because we didn't have

months and wait till he wants US kids to die on Greenland beaches so fucking Mark Andressen or some other tech bro can make even more money stealing their mineral rights. The world is already united against us and we deserve it. He created a fucking trade alliance of Japan, South Korea, and China

the deficit. That's just assinine, we're the wealthiest nation on earth and primarily an importer so we have a trade deficit with almost everyone. For example, coffee, which most Americans take intravenously - we grow 1% of our domestic consumption because we just don't have the climate to grow more

ever look to us in good faith again? These weren't targted they were stupid. Like, if he went after Chinese steel and EU autos that is one thing. But they basically wrote a formula that noted if we had a trade deficit with a country then we were slapping some tarrif on that country that zeroed out
comment in response to post
That's an incredibly generous and optimistic take and highly unlikely. But lets say that does happen, and if it there was a tarrif rollback they would be leaking that on Friday to stop the bleeding or at least Sunday to impact futures it really doesn't mattter. The damage is done. What nation would

Failing to account for Shitler himself. He NEVER apologizes, he will just double, triple down on this. Also may be his agenda. He may actually WANT to crash the economy and destroy our nation for Putin who we all know has openly said he wants to destroy us like he sees us having destroyed the USSR
