Republicans should 1000% be forced to wear this albatross around their necks in all messaging if they donā€™t come out against it. Give the smoke where it should be.

I get the anger & the optics but itā€™s been a bit much. That court reserve funding probably lasts a few weeks. Then the civil suits get dropped or delayed indefinitely because they have to focus on criminal cases. Then after 30 days more people can lose jobs. Too many falling for GOP bait at best.

Democrats did try to pass an amendment to restore veteransā€™ jobs who were involuntarily dismissed without cause & to reign in DOGE from touching appropriated funds. Republicans killed both of those. Most articles Iā€™ve seen make no mention of either.

There was no magical leverage. Yā€™all know how the media apparatus can be & how polling works by now. Even if some reasoning is flawed, when more layoffs occurred during a shutdown the blame wouldā€™ve shifted. More attention should be given to Duckworth & Van Hollenā€™s amendment attempts.

Yeah it couldā€™ve been handled better & I again donā€™t begrudge pissed off House Dems at all, but again, my smoke is for Republicans who have all the power & leverage & those who voted for them. Fet too because he gave interviews a week ahead of time saying heā€™d vote for it before it was written.

The bad was going to happen either way, & if Schumerā€™s more recent remarks that a Republican Senator said theyā€™d just keep it shut down 6-9 months are accurate, the federal courts wouldā€™ve easily run out of reserve funds beyond already delaying the lawsuits slowing or beating him.

The House Reps are in a tough spot. Iā€™m just not sure if potentially lighting the Senate on fire is the right route to win the House when like 80-90% the random people calling for him to step down think the House is responsible for the cabinet & donā€™t know how bills pass.

Should he stay leader? Idk, Iā€™m not a Senator, itā€™s their call. Iā€™ve wanted to see Klobuchar in the role for like 5 years. Feels like some of the animus IS boosted by bots for division, people trying to get clicks, antisemitism, & people memory-holing wins in the last admin.

Kinda makes WP voting to get rid of the Department of Education make a little more sense. šŸ„“šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Itā€™s definitely you who is trying not to type that itā€™s not you as you see this.

Argue with someone who cares about your attempts to bash Democrats over not being pure or ā€œfighting enoughā€ like him, whatever that means. That person isnā€™t me. May be useful to some of you who do care about actual legislation & funding votes.

This admin is transphobic trash. So is the grifter that keeps crying her fake tears for the hateful bigots.

Here is the link to daily phonebanking opportunities for this critical race that will directly impact all of us, not just the rights of people in Wisconsin. mobilize.us/s/h4Wsnl

It was Elizabeth A Davis, who has plenty of credits including a Tony nom for the stage version of Once for originating the role of RĆ©za when Cristin Milioti was in the lead. Ted Lasso would say Once was so good he saw it Twice. šŸ«”

I still see it around me & it drives me insane. Whether they bring him back in tonightā€™s episode or next week I really just need them to go full comic & ruin it for them.

1000%. I just see his stupid ā€œIā€™m gonna cut your taxes with 0 explanationā€ ad all over the internet & her winning endorsements for seemingly just existing & people not bothering to question anything based on unearned reputation.

Iā€™ve been trying not to pay attention to their end yet for sanity & have assumed itā€™ll likely be Ciattarelli again, but the trucker running in the race really makes that loss stay front & center tbh. Like $34 of campaign expenditures on Dunkinā€™. Just inexcusable to get cocky enough to lose to that.

ā€œI already spent itā€ which is made more ridiculous by the next few sentences being like ā€œoh yeah she has close to $200,000 from that election btwā€. Just own it & stop trying to nationalize things. The voting recordā€™s almost identical to Joshā€™s. The reputation differences are crazy. Lol

I feel like Sweeneyā€™s in the general election lane instead of the primary lane but that Barakaā€™s still our best bet. Iā€™ll be happy with Spiller too even if Ras had a point about the NJEA funds lol. Their mailers were the only thing I got ahead of the last cycle partly because they also endorsed him.

Iā€™m still gonna root for Fulop somewhere at the bottom of the list either way even if he does anything Iā€™m supportive of. šŸ˜‚ Not him & not the House Reps. I donā€™t think itā€™s asking too much. šŸ˜‚

Last bit lol. Iā€™m glad to be reconnecting with some of you. I donā€™t always express it well. Outside of like 2-3 people itā€™s usually really difficult for me. Friends, acquaintances, whoever.

The poetry I used to do never really served as an outlet, I just liked it. It didnā€™t relieve stress or anything. Therapist has mentioned I should consider it & sheā€™s usually right. For as open as I am to basically anyone I seem to bottle up a lot unintentionally. Itā€™s tiring.

Now Iā€™m starting to ramble as I talk myself through the longterm anxiety attacks tonight. Nobody ever really reads my medium posts when I do stuff like the little thread some of you found me through again, but I always go back & forth about realllly diving into mental health.

Iā€™ve been having more good days recently because I was finally able to see my doctor again properly after months of bs with my healthcare & bluntly other peopleā€™s incompetence. Restarting 1 med for that & another I know I can come off of in the future has made a massive difference.

When mom died like yeah we were close, but she also had all of my anxiety-related conditions. So she understood what was going on when something as simple as going to a store I go to literally weekly could cause me to break into sweats even before Covid worsened everyoneā€™s mental health.

Dad doesnā€™t really understand the anxiety stuff & I complain to him about how ā€œNo like it really is this stupid or illogical sometimes even though Iā€™m aware nothing bad is happeningā€, but he can tell when itā€™s physically kicking my ass & itā€™s been really helpful. Iā€™m lucky & grateful.

Had a tough time at the end of the eliptical session & started panicking. Idk why Iā€™m so afraid of this specialist, probably because of her tbh. Dr isnā€™t worried, reinforced it like 5 times, & all of my bloodwork was either good or an improvement & I can logically explain anything I feel physically.
