If Switch 2 manage to hit near 6m units shipped in a month, I don't know how Nintendo can not revise their forecast at the next briefing. Like 15m units until March 2026 seems really low now.

Nintendo Switch 2 launch week figures (so far) • Between 1.3m and 1.35m units sold in the US (Circana) • Approx. 1.2m units sold in Japan (Famitsu + estimates) • Approx 1m units sold in Europe (estimates) Those 3 regions make over 3.5m units without even the rest of the world.

The record-breaking launch of Nintendo Switch 2 in the US was expected, but that certainly makes it no less impressive or remarkable. Initial projection to total market has US week 1 units at around 1.3-1.35M, but of course it will take a couple weeks to know for sure. Helluva great start.

In 3 days, Nintendo Switch 2 outsold the previous record holder, PS4. Actually, it instantly outsold the first month of the PS4 in the US (3 weeks). Nintendo wasn't lying, they produced a lot of consoles.
